JFDI, the witness was in a crowd of nearly 20,000 people, a good distance from the incident.
No way could his evidence be deemed reliable.

I know that, I was there. Would just love to see him made a fool of in court.

off duty police officer who's a qpr fan?

posted on 10/7/12

gunner, that would explain it since Terry doesn't deny using the words.

It happens, one of my mates in the Met comes to Chelsea games with me when he isn't working. Out of uniform we enjoy football and riding our motorbikes (sometimes way too fast), drinking etc. The police are humans not robots and have all the strenghts and weaknesses we all share.

Ferdinand"s PR Justin Rigby warned police if ‪#Terry‬ was not charged he and Anton "would raise their concerns with the press".

Court hears a complaint of racism was made by an off duty police officer watching game. ‪#Terry‬

Ashley Cole, Luke Young and five other players plus match referee gave police statements following ‪#Terry‬ incident

‪#Terry‬ told police he "clearly" heard Anton saying something ending "calling me a black c**t". Only clearly heard "those last two words...."

‪#Terry‬ told FA that from video you cd say " that doesn't look good" but it was context of what he thought Ferdinand had said.

Three questions...

1) guilty or not guilty...?

2) If guilty - how many games banned..?

3) Sanctions from the club..?

This ain't over yet .....

Just seems to me that Terry's story is more believable than Anton's. Not saying one is a liar and one isnt but Anton's seems to not know what actually went on and had to be told by 3rd parties before he decided to take it further.

Complant which triggered investigation into Terry made by off-duty police officer watching game on TV. There was just one complaint

What would the F.A's justification be at giving him a longer ban than Suarez?

Not really. The witness saw Terry saying those words - Terry has admitted to saying them. If Terry did say them in a way that was innocent, you can't expect the witness to know that.

Prosecution case against John Terry is now complete.

What? Really? Thats all they have?
Thats pathetic.

Or do they just mean for that witness?

So the off duty police officer wasn't at the game, so he must have lip read, something aleady admitted to be an inaccurate skill by the prosecution expert.

Terry's QC seems good. Might hire them myself in the off chance I get embroiled in a race row during a premier league clash

=======================
The FA can still ban him even if found not guilty, he has admitted to saying it remember.

& the Liverpool fans amonst others would be clamouring for an 8 match ban regardless of the magistrates decision.
