No, I didn't mean it should discredit the whole list at all. I merely disagree with Pendleton being ranked lower than Trott given that Trott is at the start of her career and has not yet achieved anywhere near what Pendleton has. You say Trott is gifted, but what about Pendleton? She's one of, if not the greatest female track cyclist in modern times. Sure, she could have won more golds, but who has won more than her? She was the pinnacle of female track cycling, so should be the highest ranked female track cyclist. If Trott goes on to achieve more in her career, then bump her up. As of yet, she's nowhere near Pendleton IMO. She has fewer Olympic medals, WRs and world championships. She is the future of the sport with great potential, but she's not the greatest yet.

you could argue for roche to be just below wiggins

you could argue for roche just above wiggins as well Mexican. his tour was arguably tougher than brad's, and unlike brad he had to go to his absoloute limit to peg delgado back on the last big climb.
conversly though wiggins has reached the top in 2 sports, including winning olympic gold the week after winning the tour, and he won the tour after only about 5 years in road racing whereas roche had dedicated his life to that aim.
