I would be shocked if Van Persie signed for us, him Rooney and Kagawa just seems to good to be true..

Ozil

I think you'll find I just did my friend

I used it like a ten dollar hooker!

If there is any truth in what you say then that is good news from Citys perspective, it would be a disaster signing imo.

Why would it be a disaster signing? Did you not read my RVP article from earlier? Go my child, read it then maybe your mind will be changed. Godspeed my friend!

I think he'd be a good signing. Better for us than for City, as they have more options up front right now. But for once, I actually think the club would be right to set a price ceiling here, given age and injury record. You can only take so big a risk. At the right price (what that is, I don't know) he'd be a great buy. At the right price!

Then again he could just stay at the Arsenal.
A bit like the situation Rooney engineered for himself.

This is my Van Persie article from earlier where it shows that him having a 'poor injury record' isn't as clear cut as you would think. Especially in the past 4 seasons.

Groovy

He's definitely leaving as they bought Giroud and Podolski with the Van Persie money

They haven't even sold him yet

Stay at the arsenal?????
Your board would make for interesting reading after all the abusive articles directed at him recently.

Funrob.

i have just read your earlier post and my mind is the same as it has always been regarding RVP to us.
For the simple fact that he is not needed at City.

No that was the money City so kindley donated to us for the use of Ade,Clichy,Nasri, and other bench warmers.

They made a bid for Arsenals history but its not for sale.

Abusive articles will disappear when he starts where he left off last season,Teves did it why not RvP.

Even if that is at old trafford???

posted on 25/7/12

Has van Persie directly stated that he wishes to leave?

You may have great history but your future is being pished against the wall by a manager that you say has money but pulled out of a purchase of M'Villa because you guys have Abou Diaby

No wonder Van Persie and the rest wanted to leave. I'm not having a go at you mate, I mean, I live ACROSS THE ROAD from the bloody Emirates so therefore I have plenty of Arsenal supporting mates but you need a revolution there because you were a dodgy West Brom keeper away from being out of the Champions League for this season.

Komakino

Fair enough mate
But I personally think we need a top striker like RVP to help compete against a team like City that can start any game with any combination of their strikers and still be thought of as favourites. I don't think we can do that with ours.

To the chap that said Van Persie joining City would be a disaster signing for them, WHAT? How can Van Persie joining a side be a disaster for them, top scorer and easily the stand out player in the league last season.

posted on 25/7/12

City don't need him especially if Tevez has decided to come back into the fold.

Does anyone think RVP might be played on the left of a front three?

RVP------Welbeck------Nani
-------------Rooney-------------

for example. I am a fan of Young but if it was a choice of Young or RVP to start I'm afraid I'd have to go with the above formation.
