Think it will depend on how Giroud gets on, if he can hit the ground running i think they will get top 4, if he doesnt and struggles a little, i can see Spurs getting in infront of them.

im with funrob here, think spurs might actually make 4th this season with arsenal dropping out, if they sign a quality cf that is.

There was a Villa fan earlier saying that they would finish higher than Spurs next season. Now i know this is far fetched and that Spurs will finish above Villa but it may not be by such a big margin.
Spurs 6th, Villa 8th for the record.

I love how before the start of each season everyone thinks we (Arsenal) will finish outside the Top 4 yet by the end of it they are proving wrong. When will people ever learn?

This is the same with United regarding top 2 I still believe in you guys though GGC, you've proven everyone wrong for 16 years now.

Arsenal needed someone to take the weight of RVP's shoulders. They need to spread the goals about a bit but with RVP looking likely to leave, they'll be relying heavily on Giroud and Podolski to get the goals and it's their first season in the Premier League.

Depending if Arsenal strengthen further, I can see Spurs finishing above them because no doubt they'll strengthen before the window closes and have already made some very good signings.

Gimli

You would have finished 15th without Van Persie last season. Let's hope Podolski and Giroud can be half of him each.

Hell, to be honest, you can think what you want. All that matters for me is where Arsenal finish at the end of the season. Whether the players prove you lot wrong or not, I couldn't care less.

You mean the same way that all the ABUs have been saying the exact same thing about Utd and Fergie, said it when Becks left, said it when Keane left, when Ruud left, then when Ronaldo left...!

You're right. It's getting to he stage you could stick your mortgage on them finishing top four and not winning the title and sleep well. Sort of the mediocrities of the top 4 mini league.

ive never thought arsenal will finish below 4th until now, its simple logic now IMO chelsea will be title challengers without a doubt and spurs have a young improving side with a good young manager with a point to prove in england whereas arsenal are losing their key player and havent replaced him with anyone near the same quality.

And if with our midfield RVP wouldn't have scored of all those goals.

It's called an opinion.

People can't get everything right all the time.

It's not as if Arsenal have never been in any danger of slipping out of the top 4. We've never been in any danger of doing that, yet every season there are some people who predict we will which is more ridiculous than those who predict Arsenal to finish outside the top 4.

With Fergie as manager you guys will always be title contenders.

no i see your point, but if youre moving from one quality side to another the quality of supply doesnt change and if youd have had chamakh playing in front of you mf last season how many goals do you think he would have scored?

Sorry, but that is a load of bull. That argument doesn't mean anything. There are a lot of other factors that must be taken into account.

It's quite silly to say Arsenal would've finished 15th without RVP in their side last season because they would've had someone to replace him, albeit they wouldn't have made the same impact but there's no way in hell that Arsenal would've finished 15th last season without RVP.

At least around 20. Anyone could score lots of goals with the amount of chances our midfielders create each game.

You just called me ridiculous. We're still cool though bro

no he wouldnt thats just silly, its like saying bebe would have scored 20 goals for united last season if he was playing where rooney was

Arsenal supporters

I'M JUST BANTERING! I love you. Like I said, I live in Drayton Park. ACROSS the road from the emirates. I can't help but be begrudgingly respectful of you. I'm just being the pantomime bad guy for tonight.
