"romance" that Utd offer?

Everyone knows that Rooney has got the hots for him. What's your beef?

Firslt I did not say that. You making things up to reinforce a weak argument per chance?

How do you know my judgements are poor? You don't and therefore I'm not being a hypocrite. My appraisal may have a slightly derogatory undertone but that's about as bad as it gets.

I then said that most teams don't have a player that would get into the Spain eleven.

It could be any or all of:

1. He things United have the stronger squad
2. He thinks SAF is a better manager than Mancini
3. He thinks he'll get more game time at United
4. He respects the history and romance that United offer
-----

5. 220K a week

--------------------------------

I don't believe the figure of 220k, but whether it is true or not, surely City would match us?

Digby;

If that helps your low self esteem by projecting your insecurities on Gerrard then fine. I know he is awesome and as such I'll just laugh at that.

if Podolski is a German reject with 101 caps and 44 goals what does that make Gerrard with 96 caps and only 19 goals

A midfielder?

To be fair Cazorla looks mustard.... in that league. So did Reyes but he did not like it here. I think Giroud will fail and Podolski will do well purely due to his power and pace which suits the league.

Would they? They might have offered him much less than United for all we know.

"Thank you. Good post. Apart from the bit that mentions us. Who I support has no effect on the credence of my posts."

There is no credence in your posts, Robbing, so I wouldn't worry about this

Maybe. They do seem to be taking the FFP rules more seriously now.

Juventus claimed that RVP heard of their contract offer and it was not high enough and they would not budge so he rejected them!

He claims arsenal showed a lack of ambition, then we sign Podolski, Cazorla and Giroud with possibly 2 more and he doesn't think that is ambition or intent?

Or it could be for the fact we "only" offered 130k a week contract and considering he is 29, he wanted more than that!

I'm actually very surprised in Fergie to risk £60 million (transfer / wages) over 4 years on a player who is injury prone, old & two faced...but seems he is!

Remember that we stuck by him for 7 years whilst he warmed the treatment table...will United do the same? Hargreaves...Owen....

RVP had given up his reputation, the chance of being an adored footballer by an entire club and perhaps being given a legendary status all for this move...so things have to go right for him...

''Firslt I did not say that''

It's as good as. You've virtually labelled our new signings as flops/mediocre despite them not setting foot in the Premier League. But then go onto say that Arsenal fans shouldn't make judgments on them for the very same reason. You're a blatant hypocrite of the highest order and anyone can see that with your inconsistent reasoning.

''How do you know my judgements are poor?''

I don't.

But despite not setting foot in the Premier League, we have bought in 3 new signings with decent records. I can't assertively guarantee they will be successes in the PL, but their track records show that we COULD have a lot to look forward to.

Fair enough. Don't think I'm being particularly hypocritical. Why not just write a reasoned response in the first place? Bizzare.

You do know your posts are tantamount to "I know you are" don't you?

Be a good boy and think up something for yourself. Or at the very least document where you think I have used a soundbite and back up your spurious and unfounded aspertions.

Personally I don't think you're capable.

You know what? I respect your opinion, you're entitled to it, but I think that you're wrong about Giroud. Reyes would have been quality had he not developed homesickness. Hopefully Cazorla will settle well. Most that come from La Liga do well here.

I find you a strange poster. At times, you can actually come up with some decent arguments and back them up well. And you aren't so...caustic. Other times, I think you're a total wally.

You're an enigma.

I remember the game where Man Utd targetted him. It was disgusting. Especially the Neville brothers.

League's a bit kinder to the smaller more skillful player now though.
