Didn't you sign a Chelsea reject?

Joe Allen for 15M

Okay but if people are going to start insults they need to back up their aspertions otherwise you look like children. Not that anyone would accuse the Arsenal 606 users of being young of course.

You can all spit your dummy out but my appraisal, although possibly harsh, is ultimately correct.

I think Robbing has a chip on his shoulder

Why? Did I sign those Liverpool players. I could support Accrington and Cazorla still would not start for Spain and Giroud would have banged his goals in against the likes of Le Harve. Stupid logic on your part I'm afraid.

Does that fact that I believe that City have the better strikers equate to them having the strongest squad? No. If United had not picked up so many injuries last term I believe we would have won the title.

---

Who knows what you believe? When asked a simple question such as why does RVP want to go to United, you answered the question by pointing out that it's because he'll get game time.

Not once did you mention anything about United being the strongest squad until it the gaping hole in this logic was pointed out.

I suspect you're just like the rest of us Arsenal fans and haven't a flippin clue why on earth he would want to go to United.

I dont see much harm in what you're saying Robbing. However a Liverpool fan mocking signings is laughable.

You're saying we're getting over excited because we haven't seen them set foot in the PL, yet you're making acerbic judgments despite our new signings not setting foot in the PL.

Make your mind up.

*sigh

What Liverpools signing have to do with yours I don't know. Y'know I don't make the signings at LFC don't you? What a stupid comment.

Time to pick this apart.

"Giroud record built in the most part on lower
league football?"

Top Scorer in Ligue 1 last season. Same League that Chelsea bought a player for £30 odd million from.

"Podolski dropped at Bayern and had an average
strike rate in a weaker league? "

It is widely known that Klinsmann was the reason for Podolski's problems at Bayern. He scored 18 goals last season for a side that spent most of their games camped in their own half.

"Cazorla start for Spain?"

You don't have a single player that would. Most sides in this League don't either. Perhaps every side.

Crouch;

You don't look like you care. Sure.

How can you see what he looks like?

If we're being objective then yes Man Utd have more chance of winning a trophy than Arsenal next season. But it's not like Utd are guaranteed trophies, City are favourites with a strong squad and Chelsea have spent an awful lot this summer assembling a team to challenge.

If RVP wants to win trophies, going to one of the big teams in Spain or Italy would make more sense, as the slower pace and more technical ability would suit his game better. I think both Utd and Arsenal fans have pointed out that RVP doesn't necessarily offer Utd all that much, and in my opinion RVP would be a much bigger loss to Arsenal than a gain to Utd. I mean RVP is clearly a great player, but both Rooney and RVP can't be claiming tap ins all season long, both have very similar games in that they like to be involved in the build up, and they'll get in the box to apply the finishing touch, but they're not going to win headers or hold the ball up, they're creative players not traditional number nines.

It's not strikers that Utd are lacking, it's midfielders, it's been midfielders for years now, and Arsenal have always been strongest in the midfield and weaker upfront and in defence. So Man Utd taking one of Arsenal's strikers just seems perverse imo...

I think he meant "aspersion". It means insult.

Still not clear how it makes him a French Grant Holt, or Podolski a German reject. How is it factual? Drogba's record was mostly lower league till a certain stage in his career. So was Grant Holt, the English Drogba? And what exactly is a German reject?

And regarding your appraisal, what kind of analysis have you done? Please do state how many club games you have seen of Giroud (especially lower league ones of course) and Podolski (since according to you your appraisals are so correct , while none of us have been blessed with your foreign-league-watching abilities)

Of course I don't know why he would want to join United - im not inside his head man! Haha, I am just offering possible reasons.

It could be any or all of:

1. He things United have the stronger squad
2. He thinks SAF is a better manager than Mancini
3. He thinks he'll get more game time at United
4. He respects the history and romance that United offer

Thank you. Good post. Apart from the bit that mentions us. Who I support has no effect on the credence of my posts.

if Podolski is a German reject with 101 caps and 44 goals what does that make Gerrard with 96 caps and only 19 goals
