Alex misses a free header

wow your right id much rather have gervinho or the mighty oxlade chamberlain instead of iniesta

might as well have John Smith from your local pub league team in midfield because Iniesta doesn't have any role or job

Iniesta is the definition of a pointless player. If he's on the pitch? Ok. if he's not? Doesnt change much.

Saint

You are the same bloke who called Arteta pointless. Seriously, why do you bother?

Samir, why the change of subject? Lets stick to debating the great Iniesta, please.

Start us off will ya? What is his job in the Barcelona side?

Well basically it's not to score goals or get assists because he plays in a deeper role and it's not to control games because he plays in a more advanced role

Reading through this thread, it clearly doesn't matter what I say as you'll just give the same tedious, predictable response.

Iniesta is a class player. The fact that you compared him to the pap that is Gervinho says more about you than it does about me.

If you honestly don't think he would walk into any side in the Premier League, you are just deluding yourself.

Even the iniesta fan girls get confused about what his role, I constantly here 1 person saying he plays advanced role and another saying he plays in a deeper role

I think that means he's not too sure either saint

SO TRUE!!

They always trip over each others toes. One is replying saying he's a deep midfielder who controls the game, the other comes out with some other crap about how he's a roaming attacking midfielder.

Fat Ron

Aren't you the same bloke who spews nonsense on the Arsenal board? Jog on you tool. You have no credibility at all. Your opinion doesn't hold any value on this forum

''Even the iniesta fan girls get confused about what his role, I constantly here 1 person saying he plays advanced role and another saying he plays in a deeper role ''

What, so a player can't be versatile?

Yet again more nonsense from the Chelsea fans. Why am I not surprised?

Versatile in doing absolutely nothing?

Every time Iniesta dribbles his way past an opponent he is creating space for a teammate elsewhere on the pitch. He (used to) rarely concede posession and he's got a great eye for those incisive through passes that many don't. He spreads the play intelligently and his close control is sublime.

When God created footballers, Iniesta was what he had in mind.

So God created a player with no role in the team? With silly statements like that, no wonder people are starting to doubt God.

Hold on, other iniesta fan girls tell me it's not his job to get assists yet you're saying that he has a great eye for a pass but doesn't get many assists?
