The sad part is, while we were on top you still knew we wouldn’t take advantage

Yup, it’s getting dull as dishwater

Just can’t get excited with any attack because you know it will be wasted

Mate, it will be a different excuse next time. Different excuse every loss.

Ultimately, we aren't good enough in the player department or manager department. Nothing will change, just gotta go with it and be depressed. We will win the odd decent game but lose most away games.

The club is a failure and it's a horrible club to support to be fair.

Yep.....sums it up doesn't it.

First weather a storm get on top.....concede.

Exactly the same second half.

Can’t see us winning more than 4 or 5 away games while Ange is still around

It was like we got done by Conte/Joseball. Ironic.

We were seriously lacking up front. No real threat . VDV would probably have stopped their winner with his pace.
Upfront is where we came up short . Never looked like scoring . Many times we had no one in the box when attacking.

Some poor choices with last passes towards the end there . Kulu should have released BJ there but chose to play into traffic. Something tells me they don’t trust him much.

66% possession and 20 shots on goal away from home.

Football hey.

It's not that we kept creating really good chances, we just kept getting in good positions without creating those really good chances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s spot on!

I was thinking of how to describe it!

That’s because we’ve bought carp players. Not got the quality to turn positions into chances
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We don't have enough goal scorers. Solanke may have been a big miss today. Wingers were average apart from BJ who still could/should have scored himself.

Yeah that is bang on. I think the illusion is that we controlled the game. We didn’t. If Newcastle wanted more of the ball, they’d have done it. They know we’re at our weakest when we overcommit so that sat in and countered. It’s not even all that smart tactically. It’s pizz easy to play us, it really is.

I thought that too. Kulu looked for Son instead.

The problem is we've sold a world class striker and got Dominic Solanke whom is Darren Bent number 2 ,l( i know he didn't play ) we also paid £65 mill for him when we could have got Toney whom is a much better player for £40 mill , shocking business, if we had got Toney we would have won that quite easily. Instead we still have shat like Richarlison stinking the place out .

A decent scorer we win that game. Newcastle were lucky they were playing us. They were not great.

I’m not crying about Harry per se, just that we need a striker who can finish

Agree
They never looked rattled or bothered in the second half. Just let us have the ball
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Don’t agree.

There were a couple of times when we pinched it off them in great positions. Problems is we’re so shiiite at creating proper chances.
