How was he interfering
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please learn the laws of the game. He was directly in the keepers line of vision which is interference in itself.
His attempt to make the header effected any decision Hart had to make, again considered by a ref as interference.
Thirdly he was inside the 6 yard box, which again referees would take as being close enough to be classed as interference.
A player does not have to touch the ball to be interfering, his presence is quite enough particularly when the players is so close to goal.
I am a qualified ref and I would have given the offside without a second thought
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And you can guarantee that, having seen a million replays. Bold.
Anyway enjoy this

I'm not too annoyed by the offside. The pen + red I am. He has to be 100% sure to give that because the result is a double punishment. But he gets it completely wrong. That decision killed the game, not the offside.
Adebayor clearly active. End of discussion.
What puzzles me is why Fernandinho didn't get a card for handling in the line when we scored. The ref had a clear view, and it was attempting to stop a goal.

In the end, wrong call. But correct end result.
One day a ref is going to be the first to let the goal stand AND give the player a for the intent (whether it succeeded or not) .
Isn't a red and a pen way too harsh? Completely ruined the game as a spectacle.
Remember against Chelsea semi final when we was through on goal and chech took the player out > PEN AND RED CARD
But bale went and taped the ball in = NO RED CARD

Mourinho complaining that west ham played football "from the 19th century...... Only 1 team wanted to play football......"
Had no qualms about parking the bus at home to barca with pepe in midfield with the sole intent to hack. Bitter piece of crap, no doubt the deluded press will turn a blind eye to his own antics.

The guy who wants to run against Fifa is in favour of getting rid of that rule. I wouldn't mind it if they got the decision spot on. Where a replay for the officials could help. As you say it ruins the game that fans have forked out a load to see

Yes because that's the law, but is the law wrong?
