We've had good and bad results under both. We've played badly under both, too.
Edin - you can't say that Poch would've achieved that any more than I can say Hussenhattl would've. In my opinion, no I don't think we would've recovered. Poch's head had gone.
tanguy out for the rest of the season

I can see your point but its nostalgic and for wahtever reason poch had run out of steam results and performances showed that.

I cant see why we keep harping back to Poch. Yes we had some good times but he wrecked things when he said he might resign if we won the CL.
Things were never the same after that and it showed on the pitch.
I am not happy with his replacement or the football we are playing but to keep trying to compare is a waste of time and energy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
At the time I was really upset with Poch being sacked, but after a month I did concede that I think it was probably the right choice.
If our ambition now, though, is shortermism for top 4 and a shot at the Europa - I don’t see what the point in sacking him is. Poch could have easily achieved that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Could he? We lost 1-0 to Newcastle at home under Poch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We lost 1-0 to Southampton and were the first team not to register a shot on target for 5 years against Bournemouth. Still looks like we will achieve Europa - one of results really have little relevance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're right, they don't. Though I would point to a 7-2 demolishing by Bayern and a 3-0 defeat to Brighton. Are we ignoring the rubbish football we were playing at the time though?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I never said anything of the sort of football we were playing or the results we were getting. I have been saying throughout, that a manager as talented as Poch, with the squad at our disposal - could have got us 60 points. It’s not much of an achievement, Tim Sherwood managed it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We will find out how talented Poch is at his next club. How many points did Spurs have when Jose turned up?

Grand & Bales. I’ve seen plenty of managers run out of steam and manage to achieve 7th place with a decent squad. I’m hardly saying Poch was going to win anything this season or get top four
Which is why I’m upset about Mourinho. I think we will do quite well season, I’m guessing top 4/5 and a decent shot at the Europa. I just don’t think his appointment is worth the miserable football, circus and inevitable capitulation that always ensues.
Jose is to blame for you lot being moany caants now.
Brilliant.

I'd be the same regardless of who the manager is. You change things to improve. You don't just disregard the best manager we've had in the last 20/30 years at the first signs of trouble to replace them with what's being served up at the moment. Two good results, but ultimately still not good enough for me.
