I count 99 goals plus 2 OGs
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't OGs count in a teams total?

Off course over all. It was a breakdown, 99 goals by our players plus 2 ogs

Jose can stay as long as he keeps winning and playing positive football most of the time.

We are playing well and it’s very exciting with Bale in this form with Harry. It’s a match made in heaven with Son too. Never in doubt with bale, I knew it would eventually click. Just need to carry this form up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Are you still Jose out Don?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I’m Spurs in and Gareth inhe needs to keep winning Sandy. Still think our defence can easily come unstuck, but we are looking miles better with bale in the team which I said should of happened months ago. Mourinho is finally listening and going all our attack.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If he is listening to us fans then he has no chance. Bale would have pulled a hammy or twisted his ankle by now. He was injured about a month ago. As he has said in his interviews, Bale needs to feel he is fit to play. Long may it continue!

The dropping of Sissoko has led to a real positive change in our fortunes. Who knew!

I think the defence would have settled down whatever the pairing (hmmm ok maybe not Sanchez and Dier) providing there is regularity to it. Jose hasn't made too many changes to it lately which appears to be working.

Crazy how this board forgets how bad Dier has been. Even when Sissoko doesn't play he gets hate whilst Dier walks away scott free just like the Tories.

We've played weak opposition the last two games.
Lets see how we do against City before saying there has been a "positive change in our fortunes".
How many goals do you think City will get in the up coming EFL final?

Oh yes... we did hammer ManU, but .... wasn't that ten men?

Not quite the demolition i was expecting but a comprehensive Spurs win all the same
Good game, i enjoyed it.

All the best lads

Weak opposition. Like Fulham, who won at Anfield yesterday. And Palace who Man United could not score against last week. Spot on as usual Ted.

Weak opposition or not 3 wins in a row didn't seem likely a month ago, against anyone. We were hardly creating anything back then but there has been a change and we've generally been more positive in our play since. Bale has come into it regularly and shown form, Lamela and Lucas have featured more and they have done well, after looking like wastes of spaces, and Sissoko who helps to nullify our creative play has been dropped.

I'm still cautious about playing the better teams and I wasn't pleased about the Fulham performance which could easily have been a draw, but there is at least reason for optimism.

I checked the upcoming fixtures last night and until around the end of April we do have a tough run.

Hopefully it isn’t the case as hopefully this form has bred confidence - but it is likely that we could have another poor period

Yes it's tough from now up to May but shouldn't be as bad as our last poor period of 5 losses in 6. Next 5:

Arsenal (away)
Villa (away)
Newcastle (away)
Man United (home)
Everton (away)

Arsenal don't keep clean sheets very often. I can see us getting something out of that game. Villa don't concede many but have 1 win in their last 5. Newcastle should be a win. The last 2 look the toughest on paper.

I would expect 7ish points. Anything more a bonus.

Should we progress in the ropey we will have 2 more games before Utd and Everton. Before we play Newcastle some of our players will be involved in the internationals too. Far from straight forward should we be unlucky with injuries.

it will be a crime against football if we don't beat newcastle after they absolutely robbed us earlier in the season. they are terrible and deserve to go down.

Jose Mourinho said it will be Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's turn to be on the bench for Thursday night's match against Dinamo Zagreb. Also called Matt Doherty's defending against Crystal Palace "impeccable".

good, hojbjerg needs the rest, I'd say son does too - our only outfield players with over 3000 minutes so far.

Hugo
Doherty Sanchez Dier Reguilon
Winks Ndombele
Lucas Dele Bergwijn
Kane

should be more than enough
