One of the best techniques for a penalty i saw was Kaka in his prime. I loved how he just rolled the ball into the corner with little effort.

Lamps???

Shearer followed by Zidane.

Dont think Zidane has ever missed one.

I remember his Paneka against Italy in the world cup, that barely crossed the line but i thought for a minute he's gonna miss this!

am likely to get crucified for this but for me it is Steven Gerrard. I cant recall him missing one

vs Portugal in the world cup.

Lamps is a better taker anyway, So in your old boy van Nistelrooy.

.................

I can, when it most mattered. WC 2006 v Portugal.

For United the best one I have seen is Cantona. Best currently is probably Frank.

Jesper Olsen for Utd was pretty good

I still would say Gerrard, Lampard is good too, but usually goes for power, Gerrard has some placement.

When it most mattered?!

Champions League final 2005.

FA Cup final 2006...

Dirk Kuyt was very very good for us, as was Alonso.

Le Tissier and Julian Di.cks

Who cares so long as it goes in?

Gerrard has missed a few as it goes but he is not too bad at them.

Lampard takes a quality peno. Le Tissier was the master. Cantona used to take a decent peno as I remember.

Lampard and Gerrard both bottled it in that 2006 shootout vs Portugal.

I'd say Zidane, Le Tissier, Van Nistelrooy, Shearer, Batistuta, Klinsmann and John Aldridge are my picks
