Fred
You beat me to it. I would've thought that someone who knows a big word, like nafarious, would know the definition of racism.
Definition of racism includes prejudice against race, colour, descent, national or ethnic origin.
......................................
rac·ism
/ˈrāˌsizəm/
Noun
The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as...
Prejudice or discrimination directed against someone of a different race based on such a belief.
Never mind Fred, I keep telling you to look for an easier target. Do you not tire of the humiliation?
Also Rafa does look quite like a waiter.
like nafarious
.....................
That is not a real word and I have never once used it. If Fred was consistent he would probably write some rubbish about refusing to speak to you because of your poor English.
Hypocrisy to condemn another player for racism when you keep defending the one in your team..
Arab
Racism, or the definition of, isn't just defined to race in itself. It also covers nationality and ethnicity. Look it up in a Psychological dictionary, not your Oxford English. What studies and the meaning of racism are based on covers the above aspects. To say it means 'that a particular race acts in a particular way is too simplistic.

It's getting on a bit .
Use this definition of racism that works for this particular point I am trying to prove!!

No the definition that would hold ground in a court of law, not one from an English Dictionary.
Arab
It's the definition used to study racism, the causes of, and ways to change attitudes. But hold the phone, Arab knows better. Best tell all them academics to halt their studies. They don't know the definition of the word racism. A bloke that knows the word nefarious does.
So basically I should completely ignore the meaning of the word and put it in a sentence, where because of the meaning it doesn't fit just to make Liverpool fans happy?
Arab, still no response to Rooney's rap sheet, eh?
And no you should look at the legal definition of the word - not one in a dictionary which has no ground in a court of law.
"So basically I should completely ignore the meaning of the word and put it in a sentence, where because of the meaning it doesn't fit just to make Liverpool fans happy?"
No you should use the correct definition of the word. Then you can form a decent argument. It's not 'just to make us Liverpool fans happy'. Look it up if you don't believe us.
Fred sorry that must have got lost somewhere I am talking to a few of you guys. Please repeat.
I don't see why the legal definition of the word has any relevance here. If we were sat in court discussing things then fine. For general chat outside of court we will just stick with regular English rather than changing to different definitions for your benefit.

My my Arab, that's quite a rap sheet.
Fred, I've come to this discussion late – of what relevance are these tasty morsels?
McCarthy obstructs and Rooney hit him with his arm, Suarez did more damage when he stamped on someone's foot on the floor the other day..
Seen as I can't be bothered to watch through video's of similar crap how about you actually list (in words) the events and I can see if I need to watch the video, I have already seen the McCarthy incident for example.
The McCarthy one was disgraceful and Rooney should have seen red.
But one of the other videos is of Rooney being very harshly sent off against Porto.
Why?
Fred, I've come to this discussion late – of what relevance are these tasty morsels?

Well the reason Suarez is vilified so regularly is his rap sheet of bad history.
So I'm just proving that he's not the only player with a "rap sheet".
Arab obstructing what? How can you honestly defend that?!
But one of the other videos is of Rooney being very harshly sent off against Porto.
Why
............................
He got a red card so he must be as bad as Suarez...
That was you big rap sheet Fred, hitting a Wigan player and getting an unfair red card?
He is practically the next Suarez
Arab obstructing what? How can you honestly defend that?!
......................
Errm Rooney, the player, that is generally what obstruction is when you block a player. There you go another life lesson for you. Also I did say it doesn't justify what he did but that would you involve you reading so it is no surprise you missed it.
So despite the incident happening at least 20 metres from the ball, McCarthy making no movement other than walking slowly towards the ball with his eyes fixated on the play and there being about a 20 metre radius of space around McCarthy - it was an obstruction.
Right.
What?
Watch the video and listen to what the commentators say...
Now watch the video again and look at the motion of McCarthy's body before Rooney hits him his body is moving fairly quickly into the path of where Rooney is running, now considering the ball is nowhere near him and he is actually travelling the opposite direction to the ball I don't know what else to call it?
Shall I call it deliberately getting in his way instead of obstruction?
Suarez cheated. Again. He cheats more often than Young dives. Young is called a diver, and rightfully so, and the same goes for Suarez and cheat. Now everyone, lets move on. Winding up the scousers is a easy thing to do.

Yes and we don't 'owe' other clubs anything. The respect and appreciation, for the support shown, has been given, and no doubt still is. The support by other clubs wasn't done on a conditional basis, it as a favour. Similarly the respect and grate fullness doesn't have a time limit.
