It's fine to rip them, but they're not our rivals any more. We are a club in our own right. The OF is gone as a spectacle and will be for ages.

At least we had the baws to say it, and not skulk around making ambiguous statements.

Celtic have more class and dignity than that mate.

No. The point which you are constantly missing is they don't. If they did, they wouldn't make ANY statements about rangers whether they are underhand digs (like we've shown) or of the type which we made.

You can't have it both ways.

Get it?

When you are back in the SPL I'll pay good money to watch Celtic pump you every day of the week....So it'll still be good for me and millions of others..

It's not underhand digs, it's playing to the crowds to bring them indoors. The same as Green has done plenty of times.

He's a lot less smooth than Pete, but it's still the same aim. But, his statement about not being invited to the part was dolls out the pram stuff.

I loved Pete's crack about not being there but still thinking it was a good idea.

Tim, he certainly is great at his job. Well glad he didn't go to Arsenal now. But a big up has to go to everybody at the club at the moment.

Our scouting network and ethos is spot on. Long may it continue. Green's good, but Pete and Desmond are leagues ahead...Pun intended.

Yet celtic fans are quite happy to say he lacks dignity and class for doing that. So why do different rules apply to celtic?

This is tedious - go back through the thread and read them. FFS you've quoted one in your comment.

sorry lads that wasn't a dig

Mr Law has done nothing but act with dignity, about time your chairman started doing the same.

Partick, I think a lot of Celtic fans problem with Green is that by playing to the Rangers support, he has sometimes crossed the line. The bigot comment, however meant, was stupid.

His comments yesterday made him look stupid as they were pretty see through. Lawwell had more digs at him at that press conference than you mentioned here.

He knows that it's best for the game if we at least try and make the package more attractive. He's got more invested in it than Green has.

Nearly every other club is in favor of it so to me and others, it looks like Green is annoyed at not being fast tracked and having to wait longer for his pay day......This is not him having the best interest of Scottish football at heart.

Havin' a dig = havin' a "lack of dignity"

Pretty fckn straightforward,really....

Zilla spot on,it's in Lawwells best interest for the Scottish game to get better,Green couldn't give a feck about our game and as he has said will be out the door quicker than whytie ffs.

posted on 10/1/13

The bigot comment was misguided, but since then I've not seen too much wrong with what he says. And I do like that he says what he thinks.

Green only said yesterday what a lot of fans were saying. Honestly, do you really think that the planned reconstruction is any good?

I'm sure it rankles with green that we despite being the main attraction (with Celtic) and despite being a vital part of the TV deal but receiveing much less money we don't get ANY input into the reconstruction.
