Lawwell has acted with dignity DC,all through out the Rangers massacre,he just stood back and watched you pull the trigger, nothing he or we could do except watch.

p.s Green wont be here in a year

Lawwells best interest for the Scottish game to get better
------
so he'll be sharing the TV cash equally then with the rest of Scottish football? Nah, Lawell just wants to preserve celtics monopoly on Scottish football. As he should as CEO of Celtic. But to say that he is somehow altruistic is about as laughable as the rest of your posts today.

yeah he stood back and waited till all the other SPL clubs voted us out so that he wouldn't have to let you all down by voting for us to stay.

Zilla spot on,it's in Lawwells best interest for the Scottish game to get better,Green couldn't give a feck about our game and as he has said will be out the door quicker than whytie ffs.

Lawell is an employee does he have a stake in Celtic?
He will retire at some point not that far away.

Green has plenty at stake mostly financial and getting Rangers involved with a good product will make him a right few quid

I'll believe it when I see it. Mind you, they've got form at redistributing TV money....they've redistributed ours to the SPL clubs all season.

DC yer a 3rd division club,with 3rd division rights,deal with it.It's not the Law's fault is it

Why all the hatred for Lawwell lads????

do you really think that the planned reconstruction is any good?
===============
Good and bad, but it's the best we can do and seeing as you're in the 3rd we need it fast to up the profile a bit and share out the Celtic buck.

Action is needed so I say go for it, let's see what happens. We can always change it again if it's pap.

I'll still get to see Celtic and hopefully some good European nights.

So, as for Greens opinion on the matter let's face it...He would have wanted fast tracked and maybe would have had some influence because a few clubs would have thought of The Rangers and their money being back quicker.

I applaud them for staying well clear even if The Rangers did have voting rights in this case, which I believe they didn't.

Green has The Rangers best interests at heart, of that I'm sure.......But does he have Scottish footballs at heart?

DC76, I don't presume for 1 minute if the EPL came knocking Desmond and Lawwell would say no....They'd be round a maypole faster than you can say tea and crumpets.

But, as it is, we're not going anywhere and they have to make the SPL more attractive and stronger without a strong The Rangers.

Green on the other hand has to get The Rangers to the SPL, throw up some paint, fix the leaky roof and flog the lot...Bike and everything.
