you mean to say 8bit that you dont go digging for fossills every weekend
is there a biological reason for having armpit hair?
it did used to do something, but we evolved to not need it

exactly my point
I honestly wonder why people are so threatened by people who believe there is a lot more to this world than meets the eye.
Science hasn't explained everything and is yet to satisfactorily explain the origin of the universe or the origin of life. So let people believe what they want to. Provided their beliefs do not affect you negatively.
Leave them alone
anyways im off to bed night all, good thread
50p that's what I'm eluding to, for some reason we have been programmed to think the two are mutually exclusive. But as was said b4, the topic inevitably leads to insults! Good debate tho...b4 the "yo mamas"
The appendix is now useless and gradually gets smaller and smaller from generation to generation.

I have no problem with a belief in God, and plenty of brilliant scientists have faith. I don't, a personal choice I made. You are right, but a fundamentalist or literal belief in religion is incompatible with science.
Dubbed why do men have nipples?
El Cap said he was bi before, think he was just wumming
Fabtastic, the question is not why do men have nipples, it's why did Adam?
He was created before Eve, with no purpose to have them. Then Eve come's along and they're still not useful as there are no babies.
Ever heard of a geneticist called Mendel? He was a catholic priest.
I know a molecular biologist who was an atheist but is now a christian because of the work he's been involved in.
No one has all the answers.
Goodnight lads
8bit, evolution yes, but a natural development devoid of a benevolent intelligence? Maybe not.
If Adam and Eve were both white males how are there chinese and black people? That is why you shouldn't base answers on myths.
Mike, I love the idea it that it was 'chance'. This planet isn't ideal for us, we're ideal to live in these conditions, which is why we're here now.
Andy, there is NO link in the evolutionary chain that can answer ur question, the HAR1 gene is the key gene that appeared from nowhere! This is where the Adam and Eve story may have come in. The bible doesn't say Adam was the first person, just first man, as such as it says further on several times that beings existed outside the garden. The land of Nod for example is where Adams son Cain was sent with his mark of Cain after he killed Abel, the mark given so those who came across him did not harm him.
Evolution can explain the bible and vice versa. We just seem to be scared if joining the dots. We have a definite origin and somebody somewhere knows for sure.
Suspect..why because I offer an opinion? Delusion is born from being subjective to a reality that is constructed far from the reality of the ...well ...reality (or there abouts)
I've read tonnes on both sides of the argument in depth so my opinion is from a perspective with a solid base of reference.
You however pigeon hole me as a crackpot because what i have said (notably without giving my full opinion/stance), ur opinion comes from a place of cynisim and prentenctiousness, yet u speak with such confidence in ur assertion like its irrefutable fact...that sir is delusional no?
