Without Saka and Ode there is no creative spark whatsoever.

Nwaneri should have started but once again Arteta is too cautious when it comes to playing youngsters. Now people will say ‘we couldn’t risk losing 2 games in a row’ when he sits on the bench vs Shakhtar.

Saka links like Odegaard and also plays the final ball like a winger. He is the most important player at Arsenal because he does two jobs. Arteta knows that which is why he plays every game.

I tend to agree. We need to be braver. We were passive and hesitating.

With the players we had on the pitch I think we could have easily set-up without using a sub. Bringing on Kiwior obviously didn't work out at all. Could have dropped either Partey or Rice into the back 4 and Havertz into midfield and attacked from the wingers.

I'm annoyed with that. Still far from over, Liverpool might be good but I think they're easy to defend against under Slot and City without Rodri will drop points.

Makes it all the more frustrating though

Yeah I thought it would be Rice. He's done that job before. I suppose they wanted his power going forward but he could have been told to play like Stones does for City and drop in midfield.
