I think he probably makes more mistakes in relation to how often he plays, but CB is a position where experience, partnerships and rhythm matter a lot. Kiwior is still young, doesn't have the same chemistry with the defence that Gabriel does and doesn't get huge runs of games to get settled in (and when he does it's often at LB, which isn't his favoured position).

You can forgive it when defenders are beaten because of physicality like pace or out jumped. What is harder to fix is when players make mistakes because of concentration. And that's been the biggest weakness Kiwior has imo. Its even been notable at International level for him.

Yeah it's far from ideal, but a lot of defenders improve that part of their game as they get older and he's still relatively young for a CB.

Saliba and Gabi are outliers but they've also had a lot of first team football over the past 4 years or so, which Kiwior hasn't had so much of.
