I said this last year, when Higuain was the target - the main issue is not the main striker, it's the lack of variation in our attacking play. If we have one avenue that seems successful, we'll bleed it dry until either it gets figured out by the opposition, or the player involved breaks down - we did it with van Persie, with Fabregas, with Nasri for a time, and last year we did it with Ozil and Ramsey. Scoring goals is not down to personnel, but mentality.

Good lord KPPR. I think you have fallen for the media bull. All teams, and I mean all teams play in one style. It is defined by the manager and and he buys players to fit it. Thats what makes them successful.

Mourinho didn't keep Mata so that he can play with a plan B when his attrition, all players must defend style.

Scoring is absolutely down to personnel.
