If we have one avenue that seems successful, we'll bleed it dry until either it gets figured out by the opposition, or the player involved breaks down

Good lord KPPR. I think you have fallen for the media bull. All teams, and I mean all teams play in one style. It is defined by the manager and and he buys players to fit it. Thats what makes them successful.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jenius, you misunderstood what I meant. By 'avenue', I mean one particular aspect of play in the side; not the approach of the team itself.
Take for example, Nasri's last season for Arsenal, when he hit that patch of goalscoring form. After two or three games, you noticed that the team were looking for Nasri practically every time we were in the attacking half; fair enough, he was in a confident mood and could make things happen - but the single-mindedness of the approach during those few games just made our play predictable and easy to nullify. Then van Persie hit a patch of form, and they started doing it to him... and it goes on like that.
Yes, as you say, every team has a style of play that they stick to - but you need to make use of every facet of that side, rather than just cherrypick those which are immediately effective - otherwise you're easily found out.
Thats a fire hazard Pete... Do you want Tbok's daughters birthday to be ruined?

What can I say? I REALLY disagreed with him.
I'd say we're quite balanced right now, as in no one does anything.
