How the feck do you conclude we parked the bus, after having more shots Did you actually watch the game?
We played against Madrid in the exact same way we play against Arsenal. Press their play makers, don't give them time, let them have the ball and hit them on the counter. Which is exactly what Madrid are good at, if you don't let Madrid counter attack, a lot of their threat is nullified. Everyone who appreciates football agrees that United got their tactics absolutely spot on.
You watch the game and twist the events to suit your own agenda.
Just stop whining about it, it's over. Deal with it

I gave a controversial decision, just because you don't like it, doesn't mean you have to whine throughout the thread about it, Greg
------
And yet your first post was to try and pick holes in my comment and not offer anything to do with the article
------------------------
My comment was showing that your comment was a well peddled myth that has been going round since the incident. Look it up and you'll see I'm right.
Nani missed one game, a game which your first team were rested in and was back for the next game.
Look it up.

And how did that relate to the point that it was a bad decision and that it warranted a red card? The extent of Nani's injury and how many games he did or didn't miss is irrelevant. It was a bad challenge that most would agree deserved a red. Yet you have to start point scoring and ruin another decent thread.

"And how did that relate to the point that it was a bad decision and that it warranted a red card?"
It didn't. It related to the myth Red666 came out with that Nani was forced out of games due to Carraghers tackle.
I made no comment on the tackle itself. Only on the myth that Nani was forced to miss games because of it. Then everybody turned on me.

Not really, I decided to try close the subject with a bit of humour. I could have went into how he proved my point, in that the scratch the boy received, if stitched, was less likely to get infected. But that was liekly to cause another couple of pages of back and forward nonsense. Have it your way.

Right OK - I was wrong, he meant Nani didn't miss any games through injury.

how was kompany's two footed high flying challenge not a red though? it clearly was.
-----------------------------------------
That was never a red.
I remember a Liverpool player holding the ball at the corner flag, and a player came in and fly kicked him to the back. No yellow even.
