"And how did that relate to the point that it was a bad decision and that it warranted a red card?"
It didn't. It related to the myth Red666 came out with that Nani was forced out of games due to Carraghers tackle.
I made no comment on the tackle itself. Only on the myth that Nani was forced to miss games because of it. Then everybody turned on me.
-------------------------------------------------
He said that Nani was sidelined for a while. Which he was.
--------------------------------
Pedant.
Right OK - I was wrong, he meant Nani didn't miss any games through injury.
We can move on now, I accept.
-----------------------------
Nani missed the FA Cup match against Arsenal. Had he been fit, he would have at least been on the bench. Despite your earlier suggestion that we rested a lot of first team players in that match, we didn't. We rested a few, but they were all on the bench. Except Nani. We had Obertan and Joshua King on the bench. You think that SAF would have chosen either of those over the option of having Nani on the bench against Arsenal? Give your head a wobble man and stop spouting such drivel, It is truly embarrassing for a man of your age.

You rested players and it's very likely Nani would have been rested too. Just because you don't agree doesn't make somebody wrong.
Now please tell me about these other matches he missed.
Statman, was that the game where we played with 7 defenders? and someone like Bebe or something up front?
TOOR, why would we rest people for a game against Arsenal, who weren't always as bad as they are now....?
Who said anything about the number of matches?

We moved a few to the bench, we didnt rest them. The only players that were 'rested' were Giggs, Scholes and Valencia and they all came off the bench. Had Nani been fit, he would have been on the bench ahead of Obertan or more likely King.
What other games are you talking about? Have I mentioned any other games?
Brown, Smalling, O'Shea, Gibson and Fabio all played in that game due to resting players. I fully expect Nani would have been rested too, especially with Giggs only making the bench.

Nah, we had Rooney and Hernandez up front. What SAF did was put Rafael and Fabio on the wings, with O'Shea and Gibbo in the middle.
All of our top players where either starting or on the bench, with the exception of Nani. Guess why?

No. I don't think so.
If Nani didn't complete the previous game, why on Earth would he be rested for a game against Arsenal, if he was fit, he'd have started.
"All of our top players where either starting or on the bench, with the exception of Nani. Guess why?"
No they weren't. You had many young players on the first team and on the bench with the old head sin Scholes and Giggs there, incase you needed them.
As I said above:-

I don't know the reasons, you'd have to ask your manager.
I thought the decision to not send off Varane at the Bernabeu was worse than the decision to send Nani off. As clear a red as you'll ever see.
Poor decisions that favoured United is a tie between Pedro mendez and Drogba getting kicked in the throat by evans and drogba was the one booked.

Smalling played because Rio was injured and Wes had been one of our best players the previous season.
Answer my question; you think that SAF would opt for Obertan and Joshua King over Nani against Arsenal? Really?

So when disproved over his "scratch" theory, and the fact that Nani was actually injured for the games he missed, TOOR has no reply.
