This didn't happen. He had a scratch, received after Carraghers' studs scratched down his leg and he didn't miss games. He missed one game, which he may or may not have played in anyhow.

When someone says "scratch" to me, I assume it looks like when you get clawed by a cat, or rake by a nail. A long, thing, shallow cut.

That, is none of the above.

No, it was TOOR that said that. He has in effect been arguing with himself in the mistake that one of us claimed that Nani had missed games. All that was said is that Nani was sidelined, which he was. He had to come off against Liverpool, which is in itself being sidelined. He then missed the Arsenal game. Sidelined.

Ask him if they stitch scrathes

I know for a fact they stitch scratches as I type it up and often have to refer patients to be stitched.

and if something had scraped down his leg, and the cut not just been 2 inches long, and an inch wide. You'd have a point. Look again at the images I posted and you'll see that there is in fact, a hole in his leg. It is nothing like a scratch. It is a gash.

You're struggling with the medical meaning of the word 'scratch'. That's not my problem, that's yours. Sorry.

You haven't though TOOR, you've described how an injury, that is completely different to the one sustained, is created. By that logic, if you're hit with a sword, it's just a scratch.

Toor, I also work in a hospital and can conclude you talk bollax!

But Carra's studs weren't scraping down Nani's legs. So it can't be as you described "medically" a scratch. His studs hit his legs, and opened a 2 inch hole in his leg. So even by your definition, you're wrong.

TOOR asking a doctor what a scratch is does not equal Nani's injury being a scratch. Are you really this dumb?
