RtM the whole transfer system is undoubtedly stupid and ruins that aspect entirely

The gameplay makes up for it but it doesn't have a proper ML feel to it as it did on 2011

New season.

Gonna step up a gear and play on professional instead of regular. This should be interesting.

I've really enjoyed the first 2 games of this new season

First game was a tense away game to Arsenal. They had some of the 'legends' such as Dunga/Rjikard/Adams
Managed to win 2-1 although they had 3 good chances which they missed.

Then went 2-0 down to Everton at home before an Ishmael Miller brace early in the second half

And then a Mata free-kick with just a few minutes left on the clock

It feels so much more exciting on this difficulty and gameplay is more unique

Tony Adams Arsenal through and through

Played a couple of CL exhibition matches to predict the final. One of these is 100% guaranteed to happen.

First match: Borussia Dortmund 1-2 Bayern Munich
A fairly even game, we play some nice football but Bayern create the better chances, Mandzukic with a double, capitalising on a defensive mix-up between Hummels and Pizsczek to score the opener, then in the second half tapping in after Kroos' effort had hit the post. Reus hit the bar with a powerful effort before Schieber got one back, Lewandowski with a lovely dummy run to take Dante away, after coming off the bench. Too little too late sadly, 2-1 the final score.

Second match: Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Bayern Munich
We fly out of the blocks, with Kuba's long shot saved and Goetze chipping just wide, creating plenty of openings but Ribery and Alaba combine to set up Mandzukic for a tap-in, 1-0 with their first decent chance. Lewandowski and Gomez hit the posts as it looks like Bayern have somehow grabbed the victory, but we keep pressuring and nick the ball to set Lewandowski away, squaring for Schieber the super-sub to grab an equaliser with the last kick of the 90. Not much going in the first half of extra time, but at the start of the second Reus robs Dante of the ball in a dangerous area, bursts into the box and fires past Neuer to seal the win for Dortmund, 2-1!

I've realised Professional is so much better than Regular.

Way more original gameplay (doesn't have a repetitive feel to it and each goal is unique)

Plus you get a lot more satisfaction from a hard-fought victory. When you're holding onto a lead it's really backs against the wall stuff as you do everything to organise the defence and have everyone doing their job defensively

It's wonderful

Professional is the one for me as well. For now, anyway.

I think I've decided that once exams are over I'm going to do a Napoli ML

Right, here goes. Decided to go for Arsenal again, will try and do the first season with only Arsenal players although I may sign one or two (got a 55% chance of Higuain )

Friendly against Anzhi, Cazorla with a great curling effort, Walcott with a shot across the keeper and Cazorla wrapping it up with a near post finish. Ahmedov got one back for them, 3-1.

I'm starting to draw a bit too much. It's caused me to be 3rd in the league and 5 points off Spurs in 1st in October.

I've realised I need to definitely improve my defending since I'm conceding on average more than a goal a game and I can't keep relying on late winners. My defenders are all decent especially my CBs so I don't know what it is. Most goals I concede are fast counter-attacks, often very direct ie a lobbed through ball over the last man in defence

When are your exams over? I wanna see how good I am compared to everyone else on here
