Away at Boro who are still second in the league. Downing forces an early save and Parlour heads over the rebound. Maxwell set up Henry who drew a great save from Schwarzer only for Ljungberg to tuck the rebound away. Just two minutes later Henry set up Ljungberg for an easy second. Downing had another shot saved but Yakubu put the ball in the empty net, 2-1.
Downing forced a great save from Stekelenburg and Viduka and Maccarone missed the target, we held on for the win. Top by 3 points
At home to Man City. Beasley wasted a good chance, Ribery's run set up Adebayor to have a shot saved. Andy Cole had a header tipped over, then Barton played in Jay Seilna ( no idea, pretend name?) who hit the bar and scored the rebound. Lost 1-0, only our second loss of the season.
Away to Rangers next, Henry set up van Persie to smash in a right-footed effort and make it 1-0. Sionko and Prso hit the post in quick succession. Sionko's dinked ball forward found Prso who smashed a left-footed volley in at the near post. Ribery's dribbling set up Fabregas for a great chance but he wasted it. At least Sionko didn't score a late header. 1-1.
At home to Chelsea in the first leg of the cup semi-final. Henry twice fired wide but when Hleb gave him the ball it was third time lucky as he beat Essien and Ferreira's challenges with a single dummy, found himself 1-on-1 with Cech and coolly finished. Lampard squandered their only clear chance of the game.
Fabregas found himself on the left, cut inside with a dummy beating Essien and hit a stunning curling shot that was just a millimetre or two wide of the far post, would've been an amazing goal. Henry found himself with a couple of chances but Cech thwarted him on both occasions, as well as denying late sub Baptista. 1-0 FT, a great performance.
Arsenal vs. Villa. Hleb had an early chance saved but Ljungberg broke away to put us in front goal. Stekelenburg saved from Davis and Rosicky's daisy cutter went just wide from distance. Ljungberg shrugged off a defender's challenge and squared for van Persie to tap in but it was somehow given as a foul against the Swede. Angel's scissor kick hit the post but we finished it off with sub Walcott playing in sub Aguero to finish well. 2-0.
At Everton for the first leg of the first knockouts in the Masters Cup (Europa). Stubbs let Henry cut inside too easily to put us 1-0 up and I accidentally let Adebayor take an injury time corner but a lucky bounce let Fabregas stab the ball in for 2-0.
At West Ham. Henry came closest in the first half with a shot that hit the post. In the second half his shot was deflected but Green reacted for a brilliant save. Walcott and Ljungberg played quick one-two, Theo hit the post and Green was unlucky as it went in off him for an own goal. Henry blasted a shot towards goal but Green made another great save. Fabregas' corner found Rosicky whose header was caught up on the line ending up in another own goal, this one from Collins. Could've had more if Cesc was a bit sharper late on.
Second Masters Cup leg against Everton. Borowski's looping header forced a save and Nasri's corner was headed in by Adebayor, just on, with his first touch. 1-0, 3-0 on aggregate.
2-1 win over Blackburn. After Henry and Rosicky had early chances, Kuqi headed them in front. He nearly got a second but his shot crashed off the bar. Ljungberg had a shot saved, it looped up and Henry headed in off the bar. Second half and a quick free kick allowed Fabregas to play in Ribery for a clinical finish. Gilberto came closest to a third, Friedel tipped his shot onto the post.
Masters Cup quarter finals dominated by Spainish teams, 5/8. We've got Real Madrid, first leg at Highbury.
Van Persie had Casillas at full stretch to tip a shot over the bar. Van Nistelrooy's header was saved by Lehmann and he couldn't get to the rebound in time. Casillas was alert again to help Henry's low shot onto the post.
We began the second half with Henry picking it up from deep, gliding past three defenders (and the keeper) and slotting it in to put us 1-0 up against Madrid. Familiar? Casillas came to the edge of the box to take a free kick, Toure headed it down and Henry came so close to a memorable second, his 50 yard shot beat Casillas but came back of the post for the keeper to gather. In injury time a good move ended in Hleb playing a dangerous ball across the 6 yard box and Henry being in the right place for a tap-in to make it 2-0. Great win, good position for the second leg.
Not many chances but a routine win at Newcastle. Ljungberg chipped in with our first chance. Borowski's header was tipped onto the bar and Adebayor and Aguero came close in the second half. 1-0.
Then away at Madrid in the second leg, already leading 2-0. Van Nistelrooy fed Cassano who got them back in it early on. Lehmann saved well from Cicinho and had to redeem himself with a save from Cassano after giving it away in the second half.
They had more of the play but van Persie played in Henry who went past Casillas (again) to put it beyond doubt. We then got a free kick when Henry was brought down, could've taken it quickly but gave it to Henry and from 35 yards he scored what is undoubtedly the best free kick I've ever scored on PES 6, dipping beautifully over the wall and just under the bar. Amazing power and precision. Ronaldo squared it to van Nistelrooy but he couldn't beat Lehmann. Not to be for Madrid. 2-1, 4-1 on aggregate.
HENRY Amazing free kick
At home to Chelsea in the league. Ballack's cross was helped back across goal by an unlucky Fabregas and Shevchenko dived in to score. Joe Cole was denied by Lehmann but Senderos caught Lampard who scored the resulting penalty to end it. 2-0.
It seems like ages since the first leg of the cup against Chelsea which we won 1-0 and we face them for a second time in a row in the second leg. Ballack with their best chance, Henry with ours. Theo comes on, cuts in from the right and his shot across goal goes in off the post, 1-0, 2-0 on aggregate, into the final against West Ham. Theo's first goal
1-1 with Celtic. Maloney's shot was saved but Gravesen put the rebound in. Aguero came close with a near post effort, then Ljungberg rolled it across goal for him to equalise. Borowski could've scored with the final kick but he shot agonisingly wide.
At home to Zaragoza in the Masters Cup semi-final first leg. Henry got past the defence and fired a low shot to open the scoring. Gallas played it across the box and Borowski made it 2-0 goal. Gilberto came close to a third, then Rosicky's corner was chested down by Henry who volleyed in for 3-0.
Henry sold a defender a few stepovers to find some space and complete his hat-trick in the second half. Van Persie tried a chip, Milito forced a great save from Stekelenburg but Adebayor held it up and teed up Borowski to score his second and make it 5-0. Most comfortable win we've had, Henry made it look easy.
Away at Everton. Cahill strike was saved by Stekelenburg, Aguero broke through and hit the post. Henry took the ball down and hit a half-volley just wide. Hughes was a little unlucky to concede a penalty for a foul on Maxwell and Henry scored. Aguero sent sub Adebayor through and he finished well to make it 2-0.
Away at Zaragoza, already 5-0 up from the first leg, Ljungberg gets the winner in a 1-0 victory. Van Persie nearly added another late on but we're through to the Masters Cup final 6-0 on aggregate to face Valencia.

Valencia in the Masters Cup final. Henry and Klasnic both missed the target with each side's first chance. Some poor defending allowed Viana to weave through and set up Albelda for an easy opening goal. Joaquin beat Fabregas and van Persie with two great dummied in the second half but his shot was poor. Gilberto got forward and forced a great save from Canizares only to see Henry react quickest and stab the ball in to equalise. Gilberto also set up Fabregas to fire goalwards and his shot was on target but blocked by Henry as it went to extra time
Tavano's long ball forward found Klasnic unmarked and he took advantage of poor positioning by Stekelenburg to put Valencia back in front. The keeper kept us in it with a save from Klasnic and Henry came close to an equaliser but it finished 2-1 to Valencia.
Henry finished as top scorer with 9, Villa the best player. Chelsea beat Newcastle to win the European Championship (Champions League)
First of our must-win final three games if we want to win the league. At home to Spurs, and they get off to a great start when Berbatov curls a free kick into the top corner from 20 yards. Didn't take long to get back in it, Borowski playing in Maxwell who shot at Robinson but scored at the second attempt. We were in full swing and after the break Gilberto won the ball and found Rosicky, then Henry, then Aguero who played it back into the path of Rosicky to guide it into the top corner and put us 2-1 up with a great team goal. Rosicky set up Aguero for an easy finish to kill the game. 3-1 and we move above Boro who lost to United. Just gotta overtake Chelsea now.
Penultimate game at Old Trafford. Henry has our first chance saved and Giggs' corner is headed home by Ronaldo. Hleb's cross found Borowski straight away but he headed against the post.
Ronaldo forced a save from Lehmann, Henry had two efforts but couldn't score either. Henry was getting very tired but thankfully Aguero wasn't, the Frenchman found him and his initial chance was blocked by Carrick but he converted it at the second attempt. Henry came a few centimetres from winning it late on but it ended 1-1. Need to hope Chelsea lose, Boro fail to win and we hammer Liverpool in the final game to win the league now.
Hleb set up Henry to turn and score what was the only goal. Clichy set up Fabregas who had a great shot saved and Henry's flying header hit the post from the corner. Liverpool had a couple of decent second half chances, Bellamy's shot blocked by Toure and Garcia denied by Lehmann who kept a clean sheet on his final appearance.
Not enough though as Chelsea won to seal the title and Boro won so they finish ahead of us.

Villa 43
Spurs 43 outside the Masters Cup spots

Celtic and Rangers relegated, straight back down.
Rooney the overall top scorer with 15, Henry our best with just 7. Far less than the previous season for him but we shared the goals round better this time, Ljungberg getting 6, van Persie 5, Aguero 4 and plenty of other scorers.
Bayern, Madrid and Inter won the other leagues.
First friendly against Lyon. Coupet was very busy, saving from Ljungberg early and then only helping Ribery's shot on to Adebayor who scored. Van Persie and Ribery dangerous, the Dutchman's header saved onto the post, as was his second half strike van Persie saved post. Denilson also came close as it somehow ended only 1-0, extremely one-sided game.
Let Almunia and Hoyte go and replaced them with Lloris from Portsmouth and Zabaleta from Espanyol. Lloris looks like the best (real) keeper in the game for his age, 20. Already got Aguero, Kompany, Nasri on top of Toure, Adebayor and Clichy who were already here at the start. Why am I turning into Man City?
We sign Huntelaar, Mathieu and of course it's not a PES ML without Park Chu-Young Can't sign Iniesta who's a free agent for some reason though.
Sporting in the second friendly. Dante Lopez heads in the opener from the rebound of Deivid's shot, but it doesn't take long for Henry to equalise and Hleb sets up van Persie to put us 2-1 up. Carlos Martins came closest to an equaliser, Stekelenburg stuck out a leg to divert his shot onto the post and Kompany cleared it while Park shot at the keeper from 6 yards. 2-1 win.
Inter our next pre-season opponents. Toldo was in good form, keeping out Borowski on numerous occasions. Huntelaar also had some good chances while RVP's header was blocked on the line by Maicon. 0-0 the result.
NOOOOOOOOOOO
Beat Barcelona 1-0 in the final friendly, Fabregas scoring the only goal, but didn't receive any transfer offers for my players and fell just 100 points short of the wages meaning game over
Ruined by my own greed Still got two good seasons out of that though.
Should've kept more of an eye on the wages
Decided to start another Arsenal one and not ruin it by overspending
First game of the season is Spurs away. Murphy brought a great save out of Lehmann with their only real chance while van Persie came closest for us, twice shooting at Robinson either side of smashing a shot against the bar. 0-0.
Newcastle at home next. Van Persie and Walcott had Given at full stretch early on and the keeper gathered
Henry's powerful snapshot at the second attempt. Martins poked the ball against the post with their best effort and he was later brought down by Gallas who was sent off. Another 0-0 and the customary slow start to the season. Defence is fine.
