Why haven't I heard of these films. Are they the sort of ones you pay for at cheap motels?

Maybe you prefer S ex and the City or love films?

I'd prefer Martinez over Moyes at Tottenham.

Yeah Stretty, a team with a less than £1 million a year net spend really should be fighting for the league title every year.

Where's his trophy haul?

Not even a league cup win.

Wigan, yes you read that correctly, Wigan have won more this year than he has in 12 seasons

Moyes is a 1980's signing, based on his character, value, ethics, not what his trophy cabinet looks like. Not based on being the flavour of the month! He was hand-picked by Sir Alex and it's sad that you can't get past it. You know what though, if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work-out, at least the club had the balls to make a bold decision, based on it's values.

Stretty

So if trophies are so important to you will you change your tune if we win the league next season?

but I don't see what some Man Utd fans are biiitching about?

Nobody is bitching, bar 2-3 posters who consistently belittle the Manager. Pathetic! Our own Manager hand-picked him, we owe him so much and supporting his decision shouldn't be an issue.

What's your point

i guarantee he will be better than Fergie was in his first three seasons.
the words ta rah spring to mind

It's quite pathetic. Spreading a negative vibe isn't going to help your new manager, it's only going to put even more pressure on him.

Stretty, your trophy argument is pretty weak. Teams like Portsmouth, Birmingham etc have gone on cup runs and won. Alex McLeish has won more trophies than Moyes, but he's obviously not a better manager...

Roberto Di Matteo won a CL within months of being at a club with top players so I'm sure Moyes will be fine.

Mancini won the PL, but hes a shocking manager.
yes i remember, he spent 5 billion to win it.

point being that using your logic Martinez has been a better manager since 2007 than Wenger

posted on 12/5/13

Stretty why don't you f-off and go and support fcum like the rest of those glory hunting fools instead of moaning about Moyes. Like most Reds I have recovered from SAF retirement and now looking forward to next season.

Stretty -

Martinez won the FA Cup, therefore he's better than Moyes... But Moyes gained more points than Wigan every season, but is a worse manager?

Your logic simply doesn't stand up. Give Moyes a chance for God's sake. You're pathetic, you think because we're United we deserve everything we want.

Is Martinez a better manager than SAF because we couldnt beat them away last season?

I find it rather pathetic the lengths certain Utd fans are going to put down Moyes. Writing him off as a no-no before he evens starts his reign.

I used to think Stretty was a decent poster but this pathetic spoilt attitude he's showing is him just being a typical WUM.

It's only really Stretty on this board.

Some of us know what United are about... we know the type of player the club would consider and know the type they wouldnt. Same goes for manager. If you cant see why the board have appointed Moyes over the likes of Jose then you are not a very attentive United fan ...or maybe you should support a team that suits your preferences (Chelsea being a perfect example).
United are at a watershed.moment in our history. No one is sure which way it will go but the preferred way has most chance of happening with Moyes in charge. It is also a good point for those that play at being a United fan, or try and just cant get it, to maybe think about looking elsewhere.
