Two of those are utter horseshite. As for respect
Of players, yeah until a better club came along

got a team punching above their weight consistently. Just what we need.

That's not an argument! Why am I listing crap? You can't just say something's crap without backing it up.

stretty i felt exactly the same as you mate when i first heard the news.

after it began to slowly sink in though i started to accept it more.
i thought to myself 'saf has been making some absolute dog shiet decisions, team selections and choices recently' maybe that is why he stepped down.

moyes may (or may not) not have the edge that old SAF had, but i am willing to give him a chance. do you want us to turn into chelsea, a bunch of ch av tw ats who boo every new manager they get?

give the man a chance, he might turn out good. if he doesn't, fair enough you were right.... but dont write him off before the seasons even feckin started

Uh, I explained why it was crap.

No you didn't. You just said, Martinez is better than Moyes because Martinez won the FA Cup. You then said Martinez was better because he does well at a poor club (despite them struggling season after season).

What more do you want?

Everton are one of the top ten biggest clubs in England.

He had them in te top ten

How is that punching above their weight?

His spending budget is that of a team in the bottom 5. Pretty sure Everton had the 16th lowest net spend in the PL or something like that.

Fergie spunked big money on Veron, Kleberson, etc. etc. Therefore Martinez is a better manager than SAF. That's literally your logic at the moment.

Everton are one of England bigger teams, great fanbase, long history and tbh, their squad is probably within the top 8 strongest in the league

I don't see how moyes did a great job tbh. Apart from the odd season where he finished 4th/5th I don't think Everton have really overachieved

I think wigans ''success'' in the cup will be measured by whether they stay up or go down

Even if they stay up it shows what a team has to put up with when involved in more than one competition. Newcastle are another

I would say that SAF always had the EPKL as the priority and Moyes does the same

He has an average net spend of £2.5m a season at Everton, he has them 6th.

At United he'll have £30m+ a season, with an already much better squad.

posted on 12/5/13

Don't think it can be questioned that Moyes did a cracking job there.

Hahaha what dross.

Did those signings effect utds succes?
No

Did moyes effect Everton, yes because they did not improve

Absolute idiocy you're coming out with lad

Ruiney when did he start because that is 03/04 to current day...

Also it would cast some doubt on our spending being in the region of £30M net a year... that is only 10 or 20 off the levels of City and Chelsea!!

Can't see it.
