Martinez > moyes

Why are you all trying to argue with him, hes quite clearly a wum.

Articles like this make me smile. A manager is rated best using a league because that's the only place to make an honest assessment as cup competitions could be a lottery.

A manager is also rated based on how he sets his team up, builds them and makes them play. Martinez, nice guy that he is, cannot motivate his team to turn up over the course of the season. His teams cannot defend for toffee and are not a free scoring side.

To make an article like this highlights a complete lack of anything resembling knowledge.

One good thing about the Moyes signing is we may finally get rid of some of our idiotic supporters.

On a separate note, good to see you are alive and kicking stretty. I was worried about you after Barcelona and Madrid were dumped out of the champs league

Don't worry I'm really enjoying the Germans clubs football.

We're a long way off those two aswell.

Actually we are not stretty. Arsenal beat Bayern in Munich and beat Dortmund too.

Chelsea also beat Bayern. No need to start jizzzing over them yet.

Who's in the final having beat barca 7-0 on aggregate

All becomes moot next season because moyes ain't gonna have a clue against any top euro opposition in the cl

Martinez's players continually cheat on him until the last 10% of the season where they seem to step it up a gear to survive.

How is that success?

If they get relegated the Cup win means nothing to their future.

MUDD. Good to hear a voice of reason on this thread.

'One good thing about the Moyes signing is we may finally get rid of some of our idiotic supporters'.

I hoping hope this is a case, too.

Whelan spends enough to keep an unsustainable club in the PL. They have the 4th lowest wage bill in the PL. Therefore they should finish 4th from bottom every year. That is their goal. They dont plan to win the PL. Neither do Everton. Only 4 clubs do.

Good thing I left this thread last night! I told Stretty he was clearly on the WUM and decided to leave. Looks like I was right - Surprised he managed to lengthen it out this long!

posted on 12/5/13

I am wondering if Stretty will be happier if:

A) Moyes is awful and only lasts tree diabolical seasons.

B) Under Moyes United find a whole new level and clinch a 4th European title.

Stretty is never happy.

posted on 12/5/13

Stretty is only happy when we're all arguing with him.

Everton have a much better opportunity to better themselves and progress than Everton do.moyrs has done nothing exceptional with this Everton side in his time, he certainly has not had them punching above their weight.

He's literally got the utd job because of the fact he's managed to keep his job for 12 years.

A club like utd will hire a manager for that? You must be really dense

if the idea (and I am sure it was) is to accept that the way things are run at OT are pretty good and we dont want to change them in the slightest, and therefore we wanted a manager as similar to Ferguson as possible. Who is better than Moyes.
Its a case of meet the new manager, same as the old manager.
If it works it is the best possible decision.
I dont want someone who will come in win things for three years and leave the ethos and structure of the club in tatters.
