We have to manage our wage bill, but we still have to compete too. Its a balancing act between having a cheap young team, and having a very competitive team.

I think 60k at Liverpool would put him as one of the bigger earners.

FSG are tasked with reducing our wage bill and achieving more success on the pitch.

How they do this is up to them. BR knows his budget and has spoken at length about his own idea of value for money.

You've said yourself that you don't know how much Toure will be on, and are basing what you say on opinion.

How can you be critical of something you're speculating on?

Why not wait until details come out? And then if he is on a lot feel free to be critical.
