But your the one telling people that they shouldn't saying this and shouldn't be saying this. If you want reasonable conversation and discussion then I suggest you stop talking absolute bollôcks!
king luis suarez what are you going on about?
the only thing I objected to was people replying to my comment with nothing constructive just trying to put me down.
why don't you stop talking rubbish and either contribute to the subject or leave?
Your on our board you béllénd!
And I've given you a very constructive answer which you've had no answer to!
what was your constructive answer? maybe it got lost in your many posts with insults and not a lot else.
and your board? grow up. you don't own it.
I came on to talk about football not to insult people like you
king luis suarez so what do you base your opinons of whether a player is worth the money on?
have you got access to stuff I haven't?
-----------------------
That was your question
-----------------------
I along with everyone else will only be able to base an opinion on weather a player is worth the money once he's actually pulled a shirt on and shown us something.
My opinion that its a good signing is based on the performances that he's put in over his career in English football and the fact that we've just signed a player who 4 years ago was valued at 16 million pounds on a free. The fact that he's replacing a 35 year old and is 3 years younger is also a plus!
What I'm not basing an opinion on is something that I know nothing about or have no evidence to prove!
------------------------
That was the answer
------------------------
And I didn't say it was my board, I said your on OUR board. Now if you could read (an insult you threw at me) you'd be ok!
Raj
I think the reason people's backs are up is because you've based your opinion, of whether he's a good signing or not, on how much he's paid (based on speculation in the press, not the most reliable source), and how often he will be played.
Even if he is used as a squad player. The experience he'll bring to the younger defenders in the squad will be just as valuable as his contribution on the pitch.
king luis suarez
so in your opinion we cant talk about something unless we know all of the facts involved?
well we will have to disagree because I think that's pathetic.
if I was using it to make bold statements then fair enough. but im not. im expressing a very casual opinion.
and its not your board. its a board about Liverpool where anyone can comment.
red man no that's not the case at all.
some peoples backs are up because they are not mature enough to take an opinion that's remotely negative.
all I said was that if he just used as a squad player I think its expensive (based on the only reports I can find about his wages at city).
of course hes a good player and will add to your squad. that was never in question.
it seems expressing a reasoned opinion here is only ok if its what people want to hear. although some people have been fine with it.
Again I didn't say my board I said our board and your opinion is getting more casual as the minutes go by. You've been owned on this thread and are clutching at straws!
i know what you said. but its not your (collective) board.
and no. my opinion has been the same since the first post.its just you were too busy crying to notice.
nice attempt at the end there. bit late though - im already laughing at you for saying its your board.
very good signing and free
brilliant

"some peoples backs are up because they are not mature enough to take an opinion that's remotely negative."
I disagree. The consensus, amongst Liverpool, City and fans of other clubs, is that it's a decent bit of business. The wages offered is a pointless argument because you'll never get the true figure he's being paid, unless the club officially release it. IMO what the club pays him is irrelevant anyway. There are clubs that pay players huge amounts, for them to sit on the bench. There are clubs that are more frugal with their wage policy. Wages, IMO, don't define whether a player is a good signing or not. What the player does on the pitch, and adds to the club is what defines a good, or bad, signing.
red man and that opinion is fine. im allowed a different one.
wages are important. his wages will be part of a budget. no question. it might mean not signing someone else who in my opinion would play a bigger role in liverpools improvement.
and i never suggested wages defined whether hes a good player so im not sure why you bothered writing that.
meant to say red man. if people had just replied with a different opinion then no problem.
its the people that offer no opinion and just abuse that bring the thread down.
as i have said to you in the past its quite common and this thread is a great example of what i meant.
We even pay NI on top of his wages
oh the horror!!
Your opinion hasn't been the same since the start Raj. Then when you revealed your "sources" were the newspapers you lost every ounce of credibility you had.
As for it being our board, yes it is and unless you can accept other people's opinions without insulting them then you'll find you're not really welcome on here.
There are plenty of decent Utd and City supporters I can happily chat with and at present you're not in that category.
knotty yes it has. where else would figures about wages come from?
as if anyone cares whether a child like you thinks my point is credible.
its not your board. its a board about Liverpool and everyone is free to comment.
i didn't insult people. i offered an opinion and explained my reasons. Liverpool fans then dragged it off topic because they are too immature to deal with an alternative opinion.

Jesus Christ Raj give it a rest. The moment anyone has given a different, more credible, and knowledgable answer you've only been able to start calling people childish.
knotty that's simply not true.
i have called people childish if they have responded with a comment that has no constructive points.
that included you.
your only comment was that fsg said they wouldn't pay massive wages. as if that somehow means its impossible toure could be on 60k a week.
and you were childish with it. you couldn't just reply with a mature comment so we could have a normal conversation.
So I said FSG don't pay massive wages and somehow that's insulting and not constructive.
Raj
"and i never suggested wages defined whether hes a good player so im not sure why you bothered writing that."
I said I don't believe wages define whether a player is a good signing, not a good player. You based whether Kolo would be a good signing, or not, on how much we are paying him, and how often he will be played.
you know what the post said and you know it wasn't ever going to generate a mature conversation.
keep up all the pretence you like.

He won't be on a massive basic Raj. That's how FSG work. Anyone with at least a modicum of intelligence knows this. But thanks for your interest anyway.
there it is.
patronising and bringing intelligence into it.
you know full well that comment was never going to help with a conversation. i still don't know why you felt the need to be so childish and rude.
