Thiago and Carrick will be OK next season.

Carrick is going to Bayern!?

Exaclty RVPLF...That's why I think most of these buyback clauses, etc, are bull. Surely, we'd have put one in Ronaldo's contract if we were in such a position of power with him, which we were.

The first bid is just a feeler. It'll be either outright rejected with a "the player is not for sale" sign attached, or it'll be rejected with a "we're open to offers but the bid is below our valuation of the player".

If it's the latter, it's on!!

Sky Sports are saying £35m, BBC Sport say it's £25m. Both good sources imo, so don't know what to believe. Maybe I'll go for BBC, since Sky Sports pestered us with Sneijder signing for United two years ago which turned out to be BS.

Is Thiago going to Bayern?

BBC are the more reliable i'd say. And £25m does seem like more of a starting bid.

Could be 25m rising to 35m based on apps/trophies

I'm reading Cesc and RVP have the same agent, anyone know otherwise?

Guardian and Telegraph are saying it's a £26m bid now, can United just come out and confirm the fee

I think you need to jack Twitter in its a load of bullsh!t

Could this happen?

posted on 15/7/13

I think all we can take from this right now is that United have made a bid...

posted on 15/7/13

Oh, didnt realise this was on BBC too

Still probably a load of BS!

I rate it at 0% chance, if cesc leaves barcelona which in itself is a very low chance then arsenal are front-runners by a mile

After a quick search, I don't think they do.

Why would he go back to Arsenal though? He never won anything in his time there.

Pep Guardiola: "I want Cesc. I have told [chief executive] Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and [sporting director] Matthias Sammer that I want that player. I don't know what will happen next. We will have to wait and see.

"It is either Cesc or no-one. I know him very, very well. He is a super, super player. He can play three, four, five positions."

Why would he leave a club who dominate their own league to join a club who struggle for 4th?

Who doens't

Oh...He means Fabregas.

Unlucky for fabregas that he was in our team as we were going through a transition, we have more funds and I expect us to contend for trophies now. Cesc has a big affection with arsenal, if he joins united then it is a sense of betrayal

If the main sources are reporting it then its true, whether or not Barca accept is a different story.

I think anything 35M upwards would be seriously tempting for Barca.
