United need one or both of Carrol and Crouch
yerrr...most one dimensional attacking displays ive seen in a while !!

i wonder what the F sort of training sessions Moyes has been having at Man U since he started there !
It was so painful to watch.
It makes me feel sick.
after man u crossed the ball for the 1000th time without scoring, why didnt the penny drop
biggest mistake fergie made in his time at man utd...anointing Moyes as his successor ?
I honestly cannot stand this terrible style of play.
I was never keen on Moyes to begin with as I never liked his style of play for Everton, but I never imagined it being this bad.
And you fackers thought you had it bad because Mourinho wanted to play on the counter.
i think you'd have been far better off with martinez tbh
he gets his teams playing modern technical attacking football..which is easier to do with the better quality players at the disposal of big big clubs like man u
moyes achieved his (supposed) comparative success at Everton, by basically being a team that spoiled the play of others, rather than by being particularly good on the ball themselves..
how the F was that kind of management and tactics gonna work at Man u
We probably would have. But even then I don't think he was qualified enough for the United job either.
Yeah his sides have played some good football, and he won the FA Cup, but he also got his team relegated. Hardly United manager cv is it?
Those caaants at the Etihad got the man we should have gone for. Was never going to happen, though.
I'm starting to think Mou' knows he's affecting Pel and his team:

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9148301/jose-mourinho-issues-ffp-warning-ahead-of-manchester-city-clash
(Mou on Pel, when still at R.Madrid):
“If they get rid of me, I won’t be going to coach Málaga,” Mourinho smugly stated. “I will go to a big club in the Premier League or Serie A,” he added.

Pel I thought was playing it correctly by not responding to Maureen's nonsense, but he did so in his team-selection against them and it backfired. I'm just wondering how much that result has affected them psychologically and now Maureen is going to up the ante?
I've never wanted Madrid to win before really, but if they come up against Maureen it'd be brilliant to see them destroy him.
I wouldn't be at all confident going up against Chelsea in the CL tbh. He knows our squad inside out, and Carlo hasn't really changed the way we play all that much.
Mou does get under Pel's skin. Post-match, Pel said some stuff about Mou never taking the blame when his side loses, which is all good and true, but it shows he's pretty fazed.
I really hope Chelsea don't win anything under him as he's such an unbearable character even when he doesn't win silverware, but tbh they're getting the results and gradually looking better as a side. I can see them winning something this season, and even if they don't. it's hard to imagine them not winning stuff in the not too distant future.
Henrik, how d'you feel about the weekend? I reckon it didn't go all that badly for you guys considering a defeat at the Bernabeu was always a likely scenario, that Sociedad dropped points at home, Athletic only scraped a point in Vigo and Sevilla lost too.
Losing at the Bernabeau was totally expected, but I was quite nervous waiting on the Athletic score last night. 4pts is still quite a gap, but I think we're looking slightly better creatively since the Valladolid loss.
We have four games before we play Athletic at El Madrigal, they are:
Celta (H)
Espanyol (A)
Betis (H)
Granada (A)
I think we need 9pts from those four games, and obviously we have to beat Athletic not just because of it being crucial in the grand scheme of things, but we follow that game up with Valencia away- so it could be quite easy to get into a losing run.
Another El Classico final then.
Pepe Mel stops Maureen in his tracks.
Get in there, feck Mourinho
Casillas yet to concede a goal in 8 cup matches and only 4 conceded in 14 starts in total this season.
Surely he has to be recalled in La Liga?
I really don't get this keeper situation at Madrid. I know Lopez hasn't done anything wrong but I just can't see how he's a better keeper than Casillas.
Lopez is a great GK too and until he makes a few mistakes he won't be dropped
You don't want two really good goalkeepers, it sounds ridiculous, but you can't have a guy sitting on the bench who is never gonna' come on as a sub for the vast majority of games- that's why Lopez should return to Villarreal.
Lopez or Casillas would walk into most other top clubs' starting X1's.
There both getting a lot of games tho, so it depends if 1 wants to play in the other comps or not
