I agree with that, Henrik.
How is Asenjo doing for you? I remember when he first came through at Atleti, looked very promising, but he didn't seem to kick on and De Gea took his spot.
Hengy, come on, a keeper will want to play every game.
I can see why it's a difficult choice. Casillas is a much better shot-stopper (arguably still one of the best in the world) but he has his weaknesses, especially in aerial play. Lopez is much more solid in that department, and to date hasn't really made any mistakes that could be held against him. On the flip side though, he makes good saves but doesn't really pull off the Iker-style 'impossible saves' that sometimes win you matches. No easy trade-off.
Yeah that's true. Something has got to give at some point.
Would you be upset if Casillas was sold?
Yeah, course I would - to an extent of course, it's only football.

I'd think there be okay as there in for a chance for the treble.
And if one was getting annoyed it would be Casillas, I think Lopez would be happy just playing in certain competitions
Asenjo has been great for us, really good goalkeeper.
Did you see Gio's goal for us at the weekend, Hengy?
Yes mate
Gio
Gutted never made it at spurs
He'd struggle badly in the PL though.
Talking about rotating keepers, wouldn't it make sense to play a good shot-stopper for home games/games where you expect to dominate possession and a solid aerial keeper against West Ham, Crystal Palace, Man United, etc.?
When you put it like that it actually sounds really smart.
That started out as a serious question, but half way through I just couldn't resist...
So, wouldn't it make sense to switch keepers according to the type of attack you expect to face, just as you might switch players in other positions? I know it's supposed to be an issue not to play the same keeper all the time, but why should it be a problem if you've got two keepers with proven levels of concentration?
Won't be long before before cbs play a 'false keeper role'
I know what you are saying, ioag, but I suppose it depends on the two keepers.
Aye, yeah, but Madrid are probably the only team in Europe that have two keepers of that quality in their squad.
I can't believe you actually still own Gomes.
I used to think gomes was great at psv same for park
