Excited for tomorrow. Barca were very sexy on saturday.

Hi Uppy, you've made yourself scarce 'round here lately...

Barça scored some sexy goals on saturday. Neymar's was prob pick of the bunch, but there were also some lovely teams move, that chipped goal by Messi...

Tomorrow's going to be interesting. I wouldn't be so sure Bayern are going to muller you. First big test for Guardiola since he arrived imo.

Hopefully Manuel doesn't decide to park it and hope for the best, it would be a shame for the best offensive team in EPL to play that way

IOAG my favourite Spanish uncle

I've been quite busy with work and living a rather party-orientated lifestyle lately

I reckon we could get a draw on Wednesday. Hopefully 1-1....i'd take a 0-0 borefest right now!

Jese's making quite the impression of late

Is that between me and Uncle Flo or are there any others?

Live it up while you can. Even better, make Hunter S Thomson your role model and live it up your entire life.

Dan, I can't see Pel trying that - he never did so against you guys with Madrid either. He'll get a mountain of criticism in the UK if City get a hiding, but it'll be far better for the neutral and hopefully the people upstairs at City will get behind him too.

Jesé, yeah, not wanting to overdo the hype, but I always said I'd rather we gave him a chance than spend a truckload on Bale.

Ozil feeding Jese would have been quite the moist viewing experience for Madristas i should imagine.

Ye, that would be great seeing an open game, don't remember him parking it with Malaga as well so really hoping he doesn't do it tomorrow, there's so much offensive power in both teams it's ridicilous, just pity we have Pique in the team, and Alves isn't much better either.

Luka Modrić the new Xavi boys.

City don't look like they have it in them to park the bus.

And I'd start Neymar ahead of Alexis, the Chilean is so wodden and doesn't posseses no football brain, Neymar shouldn't be benched for the likes of him.

posted on 17/2/14

Alexis is ten times the player if Messi isn't playing, such a shame that a fit Messi is undroppable. If Alexis played for another club he'd be one of the best.

Dan, what do you make of the fact that Barça dropped all those points right after Messi's return. Any reason, or just coincidence?

Haven't you seen Pique playing and Alexis missing sitters?

posted on 17/2/14

I take it that means "Just coincidence"...

Yessir.

Hopefully Messi shines tomorrow

The thought has crossed my mind that his teammates might become more complacenet when he's around. I wouldn't use the expression 'Messi-dependence', because it's almost the opposite, but it's a problem Real Madrid had with the original Ronaldo. Also, some of the current Madrid's best performances have come when Ronaldo's been missing. Both players bring so much to the table that there might be some psychological effect that makes other not feel as much responsibility or something like that.

True that, Real is looking awesome without Ronaldo, Barca can also play without Messi. The play itself changes since not most of the passes don't have to played for Messi or Ronaldo, the play becomes more well rounded.

I've just bet on Real to win the treble.

What were the odds?

28/1.

Decent bet. I've a feeling Barca will win La Liga again, though.

I think it will be a draw, which would be good.
