It's unbelievable how ignorant they are of the rest of Europe. They continue to belittle anything that isn't the Premier League and refuse to consider that anything else is just as good despite the evidence in front of them.

This is exactly what I think when I listen to so many football pundits. There such a lack of basic background research that might take a few hours at the very best, and these guys are getting paid big bucks to do it.

There's this guy in Spain, Julio Cesar Maldonado, aka Maldini, who's an absolute freak. They did a programme once visiting his house. He's got tens of thousands of games on tape, about a dozen satellite dishes, god knows how many recorders, magazines, everything you could imagine.

During games he gives you every kind of tactical and background detail, tbut he's very much a one-off.

RC, Balague's an absolute nobody over here.
