Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema were crap but they were unfit. Had it been any other players, they would all be benched.

Di Maria, Ramos and Modric were excellent.

I felt Caravajal blew hot and cold. Marcelo was brilliant.

CR/Benzema/Bale were all almost there. Costa wasn't anywhere close.

Hengy, Carvajal's energy was amazing, he might not have got any good balls into the box, but he was a permanent outlet and he and Di María were the main reasons Madrid were able to box Atleti in for most of the second half.

At least one of those chances was a very clear lay off to Benzema for a simple finish. Another again had Benz in a much better position. I'm pretty sure that in both cases, had the roles been reversed Madrid would've bagged the equaliser far earlier.

Told you guys last season you should try to get Jese and/or Morata as makeweights in the Bale deal. You could've got them for less than they're worth and would've worked out far cheaper than the cash you splashed on players who are no better than them.
