I disagree.

Kagawa is not explosive or dynamic enough to play off the front.

Yet he made a career out of it at Dortmund. You don't seem to accept this so there's not really much point discussing it with you, I guess.

And none of them were as good as him as a manager or a player.

I'm talking players like Maradona, Pele, Zidane, et al.

Beckenbauer is probably the only one that is comparable as both a player and a manager.

most chairman of football clubs choose managers who have played the game to be their coaches and managers... not fans who at most watch highlights on MOTD after the pub or who play FM on xbox. There is a reason for that.

Oh, yeah, of course. I thought you was saying playing it at the highest level, something that isn't necessary.

I've a feeling this could go all the way to the end of the transfer window.

Possibly, but ex-players getting jobs based on reputation rather than ability will always be around in football.

Never thought I d live the day I saw a man player question the mighty united of lacking ambition,

Think time s caught up with a certain club, no longer have the pick of players and now bending over backwards to keep a player that wants out, ie, keane, Becks, staam, Sharpe, kanchelskis, ince, all had something to say and look what happened,

No longer the only attraction,

So united can steal players from rivals but can't deal with their best player wanting a move

Nothing has changed. We have never sold top players to PL rivals and we still don't want to. It's a sensible approach.

So let`s get this right Gary Neville no way wants Rooney to be sold to another prem team Chelsea, but would be quite happy to instigate Bale leaving Spurs for United. Neville is your typical hypocritical ex footballer.

He is talking from United's perspective, not Spurs' perspective. What Spurs decide to do is irrelevant. In addition, Spurs have always sold their best players to PL rivals, we haven't.

Anyone can come after our players. It is our prerogative as to whether we sell to them. Maybe if your team took a similar stance you'd finish higher in the league?

Both.

Nani is not both, he prefers to play on the RW.

We won't spend that much on Bale. Not sure why you have even mentioned it.

I don't think Nev is trying to recruit either, just saying we'd have to get a decent replacement in for Rooney and giving examples. Even if he is recruiting, what position is he abusing?

Phil thompson was commenting on the suarez situation. I imagine you are all over the liverpool forum, saying he is abusing his power as a pundit?

Or, is it possible that you have a UTD complex?

He played his whole career at United and he is a United fan. Why on Earth would he be neutral? Stop being such a ponce. Its football for God's sake - people don't just cut their ties like that.
