KAMRAN HE'S CALLING YOU OUT
Talksport were saying most strikers would have hit it over or at the keeper
He's also allergic to passing the ball in the final third
He's a good player but he's not going to get to the top bracket of strikers.
Honest to God. His general play leaves a lot to be desired.
He does pull off the odd fluky dummy. But overall he's nothing special. Very average player in a good run of form.
Makes me cringe when I see some silly Chelsea fans bemoaning the decision to sell him.
Sturridge is decent enough. Not a worldy, but will get a pretty decent goal to game ratio.
Sturridge is a good striker.
You get deluded guy like Suso jumping on here with such comments.
One would think I put down Aguero. They live in their own little world those Scousers.
Suso used to be a good poster, I'm sure of it.
Now he seems to just appear on any article even vaguely slating Liverpool with some kind of laughing sound.
Well its a stupid thing hes saying, only deserves a laugh
Why don't you at least put forth your wrong opinion so I can mock it?
I actually agree, he's alright but he isn't the best. He's not done anything worthy of note this season apart from scoring goals than having a quiet game. He was no where to be found yesterday after scoring
What part is stupid?
I don't necessarily agree with the OP, but it's not outrageously ridiculous to not think Sturridge is a good player.
the hallmark of a good striker is to be there for the tap ins & finish them. I would love Giroud to score 30 more tap ins this season starting with a hat trick tonight.
He's a decent player. Would just put him below Giroud still, but they got Suarez.
Me personal don't think Sturridge is anything special but his goal yesterday was good, he anticipated the pass back and took advantage it ed good centre forward play. I think he is in a purple patch but in time will go back to his inconsistent best.
He's done what's asked of him so far this season for Liverpool. 4 goals in 4 games. I don't think he's particularly great but if he keeps scoring then Liverpool fans will be happy enough.
7/8 month purple path, not bad
I think you are all being very harsh. He has impressed me immensely since joining Liverpool.
Is he in a purple patch or is he now just regularly scoring? We'll only know by the end of the season.
Bit harsh to call him average. He's a decent footballer and has been scoring quite a lot so I don't see how he can be called average.
Fair enough.
On a serious note, he's not bad. He's decent, as some suggested.
But as I said, seeing Chelsea fans crying for selling him is a joke.
Suso of which three months were the of season. We shall see though.
