think of a house of cards, you take away one or two and the whole thing comes crashing down.

i dont think it was blown up, but having said that you wouldnt need a lot of explosives if they were placed at the main structual points.

The controlled exposion theory is irrational for the reasons I have said.

Remember the Beslan cinema siege. Would you have ever assumed that there would be a toxin so powerful and instantaneous it could knock someone out whilst there fingers were on a trigger despite being delivered through air conditioning vents.

You don't even need to hide things really. Hidden in plain sight I say - there must have been hundreds of computers in that tower!

In all seriousness though, you're right there Dunc, you'd only need a relatively small amount in order to make a building collapse. I'm of the opinion that it wasn't done like that but it would almost certainly be possible.

Not to mention the fact that the support columns were not exactly office features. Most of the columns were out of sight.

That really wasn't the end though. We are 12 year on and all manner of geo-political gamesmanship and activities have taken place.

It would be possible - most likely. However it almost certainly didn't happen - surely someone would have checked to find out if there were any chemical residues from an explosion.

all you have to do is look at hillsborough and all the covering up that went off there.
