Interestingly, and slightly off-topic, Dundee is twinned with Chernobyl.
Not a lot of people know that
SAF - no worries, Scotland has only influenced the outcome of a general election 3 times since WWII (out of 18 elections), twice giving Labour a majority & only once denying the Tories a majority. That was in 2010, and to be honest, who would be able to tell the difference with the spineless Clegg as deputy?
Labour will likely move even further to the right though...

The thing is, English folk should want independence too.
2 of your last 3 Prime Ministers were Scottish while we also have our own parliament.
You guys are getting a raw deal too

No it isn't
England really should have its own parliament. Unfortunately none of the main parties care about that and the ones that do - English Democrats - appear to be a rather unsavoury bunch.
I'm guessing the Westminster lot realise that if England got devolution, people would start to question what actually is the point in Westminster, and turkeys really don't vote for Christmas.
It'll be interesting to see how this affects Northern Irelands relationship with the rest of the Union if we do get indpendence. Culturally they have far more in common with us than any other part of the UK and it might lead to a little soul searching over the sea.
I can't see the Welsh ever going for independence though. Apparently there is very little appetite for it there.

What effect does this whole thing have on the Scots that are in the armed forces? If you're independant, surely you'll need those guys back for your own army ;-/ or will they continue in service with the current army?
Mick, worse than that happens in Dundee very day

Wales are pretty happy with the status qou...
TBH any kind of independance for Wales would be a financial disastier unless England was still supplying them with money as there is a big defecit between funding and spending in Wales.

Apparently the mayor of Nablus has issued a statement distancing his town from Dundee.

Why do you think the erudite and multi-talented Aberdonian Ryan Gauld is playing out of his skin? To get a move away from Dumpdee
I heard that the document the SNP released this morning entitled "Scotland's Future" was just a poster of Ryan Gauld.

Close, I'm currently eating chorizo, which is a smoked sausage.
Don't take the video too personally, what would a Scottish football forum be without petty digs at each other?
