That's just a load of schiedt Duke.
Westcoast - I too am worried what message a "No" will have. Shows people that we're content with the right-wing warmongering politicians we've had for the past few years. As a nation we've complained about them enough, so would be thoroughly depressing if turn down the chance to change it.
And come on Duke, at least try to be sensible. If you're not just kidding, you must know you're speaking a load of nonsense. Very few "Yes" campaigners are anti-English, that's just nonsense made up by Unionists to try & belittle the campaign. It also has nothing to do with Braveheart-style "FREEDOM".

why is that?
but your being told it wont work by just about everyone

no we're not.
Duke, just because I want Scotland to be independent doesn't make me anti English. Why shouldn't we be independent?? Its good enough for every other country in the world, why not ours??
It doesn't really say much about yourself if you don't think Scotland can make decisions without Westminster doing it for them.
Why won't it work Duke??
Can't understand the 'It won't work' argument
==================================
Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Austria, Switzerland, NZ, need I go on.
If anything its the larger countries in Europe apart from Germany that are struggling Spain, Greece, Italy and yes the UK too......
Duke, got any sensible arguments why it wouldn't work? If your main argument involves Braveheart or McFadden scoring against France, you've not got a leg to stand on. Come on, you're not that daft.
And New Labour are a centre-right party. Or at least, when in power they are.

no idea but it was a responce to someone who claimed we were run by right wing war-mongers
another example of the cccrrraaappp the yes mob come up with
But hey they have no case so add war mongers to the Braveheart and McFaden goal
3 good reasons
Can we not get back to talking about how amazing United are just now
Gutted the game is Friday night I can't make it
Duke, to be brutally honest your just not making any sense.
Aye Duke, you're spot on there.
Happy in your ignorance of the subject, sadly too many Scots seem to think like you. Hopefully as the vote nears more people will begin to question the nonsense they've been fed. Either that or they won't bother to go out & vote.
turn the news on
read the link
listen to the experts not politicians
It is all very clear.
It doesnt work.....
You either know that or have been sucked in by wee Ek.
Ill let you in on a wee secret
Wee Ek also knows it wont work....
But does he care?
Does he fek.....

"you won't get to watch Doctor Who in an independent Scotland.."
That was a good one. That lasted 5 minutes on the Bitter Together website until someone told them it was shown worldwide.
Hobo, I'm starting to think that we might just get the vote. For a long time I thought we wouldn't but Salmond and Sturgeon have been speaking well and working hard. The Perth conference was also a success and white paper is crashing systems
The Better Together has not really done anything but tell us 'you cant do this' 'you cant have that' and with muppets like Ruth Davidson resorting to just using aiming insults at Mr Salmond and co they are running out of ideas.......
Some experts for you Partick
Now other than wee Ek can you give me any who think it will work
Peter McGregor, University of Strathclyde (Economy)
Angus Armstrong & Monique Ebell, National Institute of Economic and Social Research (Currency)
Stuart Adam, The Institute for Fiscal Studies (Tax)
David Wood, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (Pensions)
Tony Mackay, Mackay Consultants (Oil & Gas)
David Phillips, The Institute for Fiscal Studies (Welfare)
Myrto Tsakatika, University of Glasgow (European Union)
William Walker, University of St. Andrews [Ret.] (Defence)
"Which experts?"
Apparently (the totally neutral) British Broadcasting Corporation asked every expert and they all said no.
Despite Scotland being net contributers to the UK & there being plenty of small nations that do well, Scotland is a special case that would definitely fail in the case of indpendence.
Initially I thought the "too wee, too poor, too stupid" line was just empty rhetoric. Sad to see so many people actually believe it.
Hobo
give us a few names of those experts who think it will work.
Duke - none of those (i presume they are the ones from the BBC article) say it WONT work. There are issues to work out, but none say it won't work.
