1985 Winnie Mandela. "With our boxes of matches and our necklaces we well liberate this country". Divorced her in 1996.

No, I said the group he was head of commited these terrorist acts...

Mandela never came out to condone these attacks.

==

Are you saying that a terrorist attack that kills innocent people is okay? As Mandela never condoned the attacks is he saying that they were just?

I've not seen Arouna condone or praise an aparteid leader,BUT I have seen you condone and praise a convicted TERRORIST.

Go figure

EagleRed must be a terrorist apologist.

Innocent people killed for the greater good.

Well Cameron didn't...He wasn't even in power then...The Queen as head of state has no political power....

She was part of the group in which he was the head.

As mentioned before he pleaded guilty to 156 acts of public violence which included many indiscriminate bombings. He may not have directly struck the match, pulled the trigger, out pressed the detonator that does not make him any him less responsible for the deaths and injuries caused as a result. That's just my opinion.

I just don't buy into this media myth he was a saint. He did extraordinary things both good and bad.

I doubt I would get banned. Used no insults, just given a balanced view on a current news story. Been accused of being an apartheid apologist and been labeled an idiot by Cal.

Everyone has been well behaved

BD what deaths was he involved in? Be more specific dates and incidents.

==

What do you mean...Where he planted the bombs, pulled the trigger etc?

posted on 6/12/13

Do you want all 156 incidents of public violence listed Cal.Or is this 'prove to me' stance all you have to defend his sainthood?

posted on 6/12/13

People can go on about the the incidents he was "involved" in, but if you not South African, experienced that life, or heard from your family who were living that life, it's hard to understand. I'm an Indian, my family were born and brought up here, their stories that they tell, I don't blame Mandela. Because he made millions of peoples lives so much better. The youth that was killed in Sharpville, was nothing short of a tragedy.

are you clearly stating here that I supported that regime?

If you have any proof of this then please let me know. Otherwise a nice apology will be just fine thanks

Cal can you explain why he would plead guilty to such charges if he was not involved? Thanks.

Like I've said, most of you guys never lived in South Africa during the Apartheid regime, so it's easy to judge. Try living in a world where your lives and futures where determined based on the colour of your skin. Maybe then, your opinions might be different
