Evra always seems to struggle versus Lennon. He needs to defend first tomorrow. Leave the attacking to Adnan.

A win tomorrow could be massive for us going into second half of season.

Beating Tottenham tomorrow will cause all the Premier League teams to look over their shoulder. So far, we've beaten teams who we 'supposedly' should be beating anyways.

Not saying we're in the title race again, we're not but they're not going to be putting money on the table saying we're not going to be in the mix.

he also needs help from his winger defensively

...........................................................................
Moyes might opt for Young on the left then to provide cover for Evra?

not Young, he left Evra exposed vs Hull, Young on the right for me

Hopefully Hernandez doesn't start he is totally ineffective when starting games.

I would say Rooney will be fit, it's huge game for us we NEED to win it.

Anything we get tomorrow is a bonus and fans should really not expect too much without RooVP.

We are a side who play 3-5-2 when in possession and need those 2 strikers converting chances.

Without at least one of them we're going to struggle to even get a draw.

mmmm.. maybe worth putting nani on the right and young on the left, or even giggs on the left.

Isn't Nani out injured?

Sweet jebus. He is the best crosser we have IMO so on the right he can cause damage.

Plus Fryers is awful and Young may have a field day.

we shouldnt be struggling to get a draw at all.

we are at home and even with Rooney and RVP out we are more than capable enough of picking up a win.

Young is awful crosser of the ball 8 out of 10 attempts he puts it out of play. But occasionally he gets one on the money.

To say he is a good crosser is laughable, even I could land the occasional one in right area if given enough chances.

Young's biggest downfall is that he is a complete utter pansy, I've seem kids braver than him (my son is 7 and plays, so I watch lot of that age football)

I'm not a fan of Young's at all. I never wanted him at this club in the first place.

But what I will say is that the guy has been HORRENDOUSLY mismanaged.

He gets played on the left wing like 95% of the time and he's bloody useless there because he's got no left foot at all. Therefore SO SO SO Easy to mark for defenders. And those inswinging right footed deliveries are always easier to defend for the defence.

In the last few games, he's not been amazing, but he has improved a bit and for me it's no coincidence that it has coincided with him getting time of the right wing.

With Nani out injured and Valencia not ripping up any trees.......Young is probably our best option for tomorrow.

But we will struggle without them. We shouldn't of course but we have been papering over cracks for a long time. A draw at best I suspect. Spurs will play on the break. Paulinho is out for a month which may help.

He was awful against Stoke the other day. Can't see him suddenly improving against us with the Youngmeister on the wing.

My sentiments exactly, not a fan never will be.

But he is MUCH better on right side, only problem is so is Nani and so is Valencia and I'd prefer either of them over Young.

He needs to be sold ASAP.

This.

I really wish people were more realistic on this site. With either Rooney or RVP starting games we can beat anyone.

Without both we are a very average side (compared to the other top sides) and it will be very difficult to get a win.

I swear most people end up annoyed at United results because they expect us to win them all and don't forgive the manager for having 3 of his best players out (RVP, Rafael and Rooney).

ANY side in the PL would struggle against a team like Spurs with 3 of their best players missing. You only had to see how awful City were at home against Palace of all teams without Zabaletta, Aguero and Toure.

we can beat anyone - (anyone in this league).

I'm a fan on Nani's over Young and Valencia but I remember reading on here a few weeks ago someone saying: "If all 3 of our wingers were sold tomorrow, nobody would shed a tear".

Felt it pretty much summed up our wingers since last season. I'd definitely play Young tomorrow though.

posted on 31/12/13

For me Nani is most in danger as the guy was given a second chance this season and has been our worst winger.

posted on 31/12/13

In an ideal world VCD......all 3 players would be sold because they are all inconsistent and frustrating.

Nani is fast becoming the new Anderson. "it will happen given more time" blah blah blah....

No it won't.

None of them are particular favourites of mine. Wouldn't care iff all three were sold before start of next season. But tomorrow I want 3 pts above everything else. And Young has had a couple of decent performances recently so should keep his place because nothing waiting in the wings would do any better.

I wouldn't care if all three were sold, they are all unable to cross the ball and easy to defend against. Only one I'd probably keep is Valencia as he does cover right back very well.
