Kagawa behind Rooney for me though is the way forward.

When was the last league game Kagawa was given a real chance in? Please tell me his last league appearance in the No.10 role? Swansea? No, we moan about Mata being shifted out wide but it has happened to Kagawa since day one yet he is criticised. It's like asking Rooney to be as effective at LM, not going to happen.

I personally have never said he isn't a world class player, England's best by quite a way IMO but personally didn't like the way he dragged his heels over new deal or that he doesn't produce moments of brilliance when on £300k a week often enough to deserve that wage, still doesn't mean he isn't world class to what he brings overall to the team and in terms of his quality.

No I never think he will be that type of player like a Mata etc and will hit long 40 yard passes out wide. My original point was that Kagawa doesn't get the opportunities like Rooney and for the wage Rooney is on, we rarely see him produce a piece of brilliance like Suarez for example and that's not to say he never does.

I want to see what people will say when you claim Ian Rush David Beckam Alan Shearer Bryan Robson Malcom Macdonald and Graham Souness were all overrated because they didn't dribble

I personally have never said he isn't a world class player, England's best by quite a way IMO but personally didn't like the way he dragged his heels over new deal

I dont think hes worth the money, i didnt say he wasnt very good. And I dont think hes a game changer or world class.

Your'e failing to understand my point UnitedRedMacca, I think Rooney is world class and what he has offered United over the years with his goals and all round team-play, hard working etc is superb, my point wasn't about Rooney's quality it never was, if you look at what you responded to I said that he can have 3 bad games, then 1 good game where as kagawa can have 1 bad game and be dropped.and I said apart from the goalscoring aspect, I never have said Kagawa could match Rooney for goals but do I think he is a more creative player and intelligent?Yes I do, in those 3 games he can score 2 goals but do I think he offered United enough as link between attack and midfield in the games? No I never think he will be that type of player like a Mata etc and will hit long 40 yard passes out wide. My original point was that Kagawa doesn't get the opportunities like Rooney and for the wage Rooney is on, we rarely see him produce a piece of brilliance like Suarez for example and that's not to say he never does.
