I don't hate Liverpool as a club or even their fans, in general. I just dislike their new breed of fans who seem to think that Liverpool has a divine right to win the title, and they are the only club to have ever won stuff fairly before.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where have you come across that kind of fan before? Here? Can you show us anyone who has ever said LFC has a divine right to win things?
I seriously doubt it,
It sounds like you have just made that up
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Take a good read of some of the previous articles on the Liverpool board.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No mention of divine rights at all.
You're making it up as you go along. You dislike people that you can;t prove exist.

It 's not a Daily Fail written article, it is from a Chelsea fan who perfectly sums up how fans from that era feel about Liverpool FC.
--------------------------------------
Yes, he said it was jealousy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool fans Chelsea is what he was referring to,obviously you did not read it properly

The first two sentences say he hates liverpool because they were successful and chelsea languished. Its there in black and white.
Me too. So what? I used to hate you because if Rush scored Liverpool won. You should of liked us because we regularly done the Mancs.
P.S I loved Grobbelaars legs v Roma
What an absolute load of horse $hit.
Biggish, for me it I'll admit my dislike for them was borne from jealousy.
Not from their winning of trophies but the relieving of all the best talent from every other club as they emerged. It was a source of frustration to me, that everyone else would have the left overs that Liverpool didn't want.
Those feelings were compounded by my visits to Anfield back in the 70's and 80's. Due to us being mostly in the old 2nd division in those times and meeting only frequently, I only went there around four times back then.
Each of those times though, were always the most sinister fixtures I attended (Millwall withstanding), with the threat of personal danger never far away.
Just dressing neutrally and not wearing a red and white scarf was enough to make you a target for violence. I could live with that and accepted it as part and parcel of following Chelsea there - what I found difficult to accept was having to listen to how fantastic these fans were.
I'm afraid my mistrust of those cheeky chappies from Merseyside has never recovered!
Serious question Reds, what was the last year you had standing on the Kop?

I have been at Chelsea when plenty of animosity has been shown.I was at Piccadilly tube station when it kicked off in the 80's.But I don't judge Chelsea as a club because of this.Too many judge clubs because of the actions of a minority.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyone going to matches in the 70s/80s would've found the same problems at most grounds, you just had to be switched on to avoid it/get involved in it,whatever your persuasion
Getting back to new st station after a night match at St. Andrews was like the Warriors film

Read the whole article, not the first two lines, it is his opinion by the way, not a matter of fact, i just happen to agree with him.
Cal Neva, I've been to every major ground in England to watch Chelsea. In every case travelling incognito has helped me stay out of trouble. One venue alone has seen that annonimity not guarantee safe conduct EVERY time I've been there.
Coincidence maybe - maybe not!

I was going to tell a heart-warming story about my Gooner brother standing on the kop in his Arsenal shirt.
**** Liverpool, **** Chelsea.
JT & Gerro are gonna do this on Sunday. No hatred or jealousy. Dance the dance of life.

Where the **** is soccerlol?
Tbh at any big city club you had to watch your step.
================================================
Not even just at big cities. I wore no colours at Norwich one year (fking Norwich!), and me and a mate escaped a massive kicking by the fluke arrival of some coppers on the scene.
There were about 20 of them, I thought I was going to get the cr@p kicked out of me.
Going to away games was a challenge, no matter where.
Not from their winning of trophies but the relieving of all the best talent from every other club as they emerged. It was a source of frustration to me, that everyone else would have the left overs that Liverpool didn't want.
==================================================
That's surely not even possible?
Which players do you mean?
Barnes, Aldridge, Beardsley, Houghton, Barry Venison.
You also nicked Spackers & Speedo. Didn't even need 'em. Didn't even need 'em.
