He could fight Thurman when he moves up. That would be so good.
He should fight somebody like Soto Karass in his first 147 fight.

I saw your tweet about Hatton giving Floyd a good fight for the first 6 rounds, Porter would do even better, but for 12 rounds. He's much bigger than Hatton as well.
He's got underrated boxing ability, he's a very skilled pressure fighter, his footwork is quality and his jab good.
He's not a flat-footed, brainless, robot like Maidana, Guerrero etc. He'd give a tough fight.

I think it could happen as well.
I think Porter would give Floyd a better fight than Thurman. Stylistically, he's more suited to fighting Floyd. His relentless pressure will give Floyd a hard time, Thurman is more of a boxer-puncher, he likes fighting on the backfoot and wouldn't just come forward non-stop like Porter imo, he'd try to box in patches and mix it up a bit and that wouldn't work.
