No just not been much going on last month to talk about on here. Pre season is boring glad that the proper season starts tomorrow as does the Olympics.
Keeping an eye on the new stand at Anfield too. Got a season ticket in there for this year just a shame I've got to wait another month until our first home game.
We will be in the second round of the League (EFL) Cup won't we? If that gets us drawn at home will we ask for it to be switched to an away fixture?
It's the friendly derby....we'll sell if they offer £30m

There have been a fair few transfers between the clubs over the years so it's not like with Utd.

Given it might give them the opportunity to finish above us I can't see it happening. If it's out of perennial relegation battlers Sunderland and them I know who we'd rather sell to.
We sold them Beardsley. Buying Benteke for £30m is the least they can do.
RKW, gotta admit - the pics of the new Main Stand look great. Shame I live at the other end of the country these days.
Good point about the League Cup 2nd round. If we get drawn at home against lower league opposition I can't see them being happy about a switch as they'll lose the portion of gate receipts they're entitled to.

Mignolet can't command his box nor the 6 yard area. Together they are a disaster.

Why is it farcical?
Moreno makes lots of individual mistakes, individual stakes that cost us goals and stop us winning we might have won had he not made those mistakes. A better left back wouldn't make as many mistakes he does.
Obviously it's impossible to tell how many points he has cost us but I bet it was a fair few. Fine margins in football, it could have been the difference between finishing 4th and 8th. We were close to United and City for long periods of last season until we sacrificed it in the final games for the Europa.
Can made more errors than Moreno leading to shots or goals and yes I think suggesting that Moreno will derail our teams season farcical because it is.
I just checked sqwaka and it's saying that the fifth most errors in the league was Stones on three so Moreno is less than that. In fact sqwake says he made the grand total of two.

Saw the interview where he says he wants to be the leader....someone should tell him staying focused at all times is one of the requirements.

Fact is as a team we didn't defend well as a unit. Moreno is clearly TOLD to get forward as Coutinho cuts in and provides little to no protection for him. Have you EVER seen Coutinho or Ibe or whoever double up on a player to help him? Ever?
Defending is systems and to blame it solely on one player when teams can coach and train overloads shows a shocking knowledge of the game or at least an appreciation of it in my opinion.
Can is a good runner, he's yet to show he's got much else.
