I think we'll see Firmino kick on this season. He's had a year in the league and working under Klopp so should hopefully be more settled. Remember he was atrocious for the first few months of last season. I'm expecting/hoping for double figures in goals and assists.

You can be injury prone but be class. Sturridge isn't average, regardless of injuries. And coutinho was our main outlet when the team was playing poorly last season, and he quite often delivered. Thing is, when you have players around you who are playing poorly and it's all on you unless you're doing a Suarez and bailing them out every single time people think your average.

Coutinho would look a star somewhere like PSG, just because he isn't on the level of a Suarez doesn't make him average.

He didn't score before December did he? That means in the second half of the season he bagged 10 goals and 8 assists in the league and 1 goal and 3 assists in the Europa. If he carries on like that he's on track to notch up some impressive numbers this season.

Also here's a fun stat about sadio mane, he hasn't failed to hit double figures in the league since 2012. That's in both the bundesliga and the premier league.

Throw what's stars you want at me, defend him as passionately as you want, but Moreno is fairly average. I watched all the games last season. I saw that he can't defend. I saw the opposition continually target our left side because he and Cout contributed nothing defensively. If we want to improve the team one of the priorities has to be LB. to think otherwise is a bit mental

IMO clyne is not merely average. thats flanagan. he's a good player. I don't think he's great mind but he's not bad. Bellarin is a superior player.

Clyne is not an issue for me, we could get by quite nicely with another like him at LB. for me the spine of the team is where the work is needed if we have solidity at the back and we do not with moreno. you cannot trust him.

SO LB then get a superior CM. If klopp has to wiat for dahoud and dahoud is his gundogan then we should wait.
