I think Boro might surprise a few Toor. They've bought well for a promoted side.

I think you are taking that quote the wrong way.
Hes not saying he's old at 26, he's because he is a bit more experienced he knows better than he did when he was younger in terms of when his body isn't right, IMO.

Yet again the league/tv don't help English clubs in Europe. West Ham playing on Monday night then again in the Europa League on Thursday and another game Sunday.
