Mane is class, what a goal that was today. He has blistering pace which is such an asset to have.

Our brilliant attacking play won't bail as out like that every week though, we need to learn to defend, and that means getting rid of Moreno, now.

No way a defender should be expecting his midfielder to do this

you can see him go on the overlap as cout comes inside, probably what hes been asked to do by klopp.

Im pretty sure no gameplan involves lallana trying a stupid pirouette costing us a great counter attacking opportunity

exactly

Moreno was still schitt today and needs replacing, but that goal wasn't because of him

A good fullback knows when to go forward and when to stay back. It seemed Moreno wanted to make up for the Pen by scoring rather than defending.

Completely disagree.

The rest of our back line is on the edge of our box. Not the time for one of them to be 20 yards up the field.

I haven't seen a single professional pundit or journalist agree with you either. All of them are saying Moreno was out of position.

That's disagree with Insert/Kaisers.

In some ways you can say today may have been a good thing for us as it exposed our problems, particularly if we now buy a left back.

I'm glad we know we need a lb now. I thought we were sorted in that position before today.

today's result (along with the Barca friendly) might help a fair bit in the transfer mkt IMO

in isolation no, but knocking 8 past 2 top teams in quick succession may be enough to sway a fence sitter

it won't create a line of prospects eager to join obviously, but it adds to the confidence factor along with Klopp's record.

If we'd lost to Barca 4-0 and Arsenal won 3-0 today our chances of attracting a player with options would be nil in other words. Now I think the odds are better.

No way we're scoring 3 on the opening day...what with our mentally weak squad.

Been at a wedding all day today but managed to find an excuse to disappear for 2 hours to watch the game... What a cracker!

Shame we couldn't keep it at 4-1 to go top of the league but I'm not complaining with 4-3!

That's because pundits and journos have jobs to do.

How often do they actively pursue a witch hunt, and when they do has it ever been against an Englishman?

So quick to forget shared being hounded, why the fact do you think they will fairly blame lallana when the world and his dog know moreno scapegoating is flavour of the month?!? He had a poor game, but to blame him for any of the goals is bizarre,

Not on post today about clynes weak defending against of, and giving away the free kick.. Instead he's a proper fullback that moreno should emulate, the same moreno who in reality was responsible for 0 of the goals today..

Now I'm aware Clyne is better but we should all know better than to expect a fair hearing for a Spaniard vs two Englishman in our media.. Moreno was a poor 4/10 Clyne little better, and even then only for his assist.

Shared should have read suarez

Inserts right clyne gave away the fk and was poor vs oxlade but lallana had got bk to double up he shouldnt have been allowed ed to cut in first of all but then to walk past them both after then even hendo didnt show him down his left let him side step and shoot

Moreno was virtually LF when lallana gave the ball away not sure he should be that eager and out of position but ultimately lallanas fault moreno almost got bk due to pace too.

Clyne and lallana both responsible for one goal each and teamed up for the other sharing it.
